The Ocean’s trilogy of movies is confirmed for 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK, with a standard release pencilled in for July.

Steven Soderbergh’s trilogy of Ocean’s films – Ocean’s 11, Ocean’s 12, Ocean’s 13 – brought together a starry ensemble cast for a trio of crime caper movies. Really successful ones at that, even if the sort-of twist in Ocean’s 12 continues to have a degree of Wtf did they really do that about it.
Ocean’s 11 in particular though is a an absolute treat, and there’s much to enjoy across the three films, which as coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK for the first time.

This Fall, Academy Award winning superstars George Clooney (Ocean's Eleven; Up in the Air; Gravity) and Brad Pitt (Fight Club; Bullet Train; Babylon) reunite for the first time in sixteen years for director Jon Watts' next film, the action-comedy Wolfs.
Sony Pictures Releasing and Apple Studios have launched the film's official trailer, which previews one of this fall's most exciting releases as the actors play a pair of fixers who find themselves partnered up on a job that gets wilder and wilder by the minute.
In the film, "Clooney plays a professional fixer hired to cover up a high profile crime. But when a second fixer (Pitt) shows up and the two “lone wolves” are forced to work together, they find their night spiraling out of control in ways that neither one of them expected."

Hollywood has no shortage of iconic duos, but when it comes to action and comedy, there is nobody like Brad Pitt and George Clooney. From their first collaboration in 2001 to now, the actors have remained good friends. Yet it has been 16 long years since they starred together on the big screen.

But, the wait is finally over since the trailer of their latest collaboration is here. As the trailer for their upcoming action comedy film, Wolfs dropped, fans can’t help but think that it is about time they did another Ocean’s movie as well.

The fix is in, and it’s lowkey hilarious. For the first time in 15 years, George Clooney and Brad Pitt are together again for the upcoming thriller Wolfs. The film reuintes Clooney and Pitt as rival fixers called into to dispose of a corpse by their shadowy employer, only for the corpse to be far from dead, and in the possession of a massive amount of drugs. Going by the teaser trailer, the film has serious buddy-comedy vibes, mixed with a bit of gunplay and action. With a September 20th release date, a debut at one of the fall film festivals would make sense, with TIFF an obvious choice for that looks to be a star-studded crowdpleaser. Indeed, seeing Clooney and Pitt mixing it up again is fantastic.

If you haven’t taken the leap to bundle Disney+ and Hulu, it might be time. Streaming is only getting more expensive and competitive, and the enticing bundle (which also includes ESPN) might be a version of cable TV, but it’s also just cost efficient. Disney+ and Hulu are so intertwined that their monthly listing updates come in the same email — and as such, we decided to compile them here for you in the same list.
Whether you have Disney+ or Hulu, or both (and the IndieWire staff has weighed on our favorites), each has its benefits. Disney has the family-friendly titles, the Star Wars and Marvel (new episodes of “The Bad Batch” and “X-Men: 97” continue through April), while Hulu is the place to catch FX originals and network episodes. Both streamers have the rights to distribute National Geographic titles, which are well worth exploring along with the rest of the library.

People starting the movie Spaceman would be forgiven for thinking that their Netflix had glitched. Yes, we do see Adam Sandler’s character Jakub dressed in a space suit. But he’s not floating through the cosmos. He’s walking through a wooded stream, the greenery of the trees and bushes reflecting off his mask.
What the heck does this have to do with being a space man, one might ask? By the end of the movie, directed by Johan Renck and written by Colby Day (adapting the novel Spaceman of Bohemia by Jaroslav Kalfař), Spaceman answers all your questions. Or rather, Jakub’s new friend, an alien spider named Hanuš, explains everything in the gentle, dulcet tones of Paul Dano.
Spaceman‘s strange, but ultimately clear, approach may frustrate some viewers. It may excite others, leaving them wanting to watch more sci-fi movies with a surrealist approach. Regardless of...

It’s an interesting month on HBO and Max this March, as two acclaimed films hit the streamer along with some intriguing original programming.
First up in the movies arena is the streaming debut of Wonka, starring Timothée Chalamet. Later in March on Max, there’s also Dream Scenario, a highly-regarded comedy boasting Nicolas Cage as Paul Matthews, who suddenly starts appearing in people’s dreams for unknown reasons, and who naturally becomes very famous as a result of this strange phenomena.
Series-wise, the biggest show on Max this month is The Regime. It packs a solid cast, including Kate Winslet, Matthias Schoenaerts, Andrea Riseborough, Martha Plimpton, and Hugh Grant, and tells the story of “life within the walls of a modern...

Steven Soderbergh said he turned down the opportunity to return to the “Ocean’s” franchise, more than a decade and a half after directing”Ocean’s Thirteen.”
The director, who also helmed films “Ocean’s Eleven” and “Ocean’s Twelve” and produced spinoff “Ocean’s Eight,” told Variety that he is not planning to return to the heist series, regardless of the planned prequel and George Clooney’s sequel idea. The prequel film will star Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling and will take place in 1960s Europe; Clooney’s follow-up is described as a “Going In Style”-esque conclusion set after the events of 2007’s “Ocean’s Thirteen.”
However, Soderbergh is sitting out involvement in both.
“After we made the third movie, I felt like the series was very much concluded for me,” Soderbergh said of the Warner Bros.-distributed films. “When the studio approached me to see if I’d be involved in continuing the franchise,...

Last year “Succession” broke the record for the most acting nominations in a single year at the Emmys with 14, and it tied that tally in its final season in 2023. Like last year there are three women from the show in the Best Drama Guest Actress category, one of whom is a perennial favorite and a previous winner for the HBO satirical drama: Cherry Jones for her role as Nan Pierce.

In Steven Soderbergh's sexy 1998 crime thriller, George Clooney plays the world's smoothest bank robber, Jack Foley, a man so charming that he manages to rob a bank using nothing more than a yellow highlighter. Foley begins "Out of Sight" in prison, having been busted after someone snitched on him. He bonds with imprisoned compatriots -- notably, Albert Brooks -- and the two of them arrange for Jack to get a job upon his release. When released, however, Jack is double-crossed by the Brooks character, and he is ejected from the building with no job. The rejection leads Jack, in a fit of resentment, to commit the above-mentioned robbery. He is caught, and put right back in prison.
Clooney, a handsome man sculpted out of hardened cologne, makes his yellow prison jumpsuits look downright dashing, while his silvering hair swoop and five o'clock shadow are impeccably maintained behind bars. Some...

Clooney added, “I don’t think there’s enough drugs in the world for me to go back.”

George Clooney is hinting at a possible Ocean’s Eleven reunion movie!
The 62-year-old actor starred as Danny Ocean in Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve and Ocean’s Thirteen, alongside the likes of Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Julia Roberts.

Steven Soderbergh's "Ocean's" trilogy is some of the most fun you can have with a movie. They are hyper-enjoyable heist romps about a group of guys being dudes. As our own Chris Evangelista put it, "Ocean's 11" is "a hang-out movie, where all the people hanging out are also plotting a massive heist." Even the sequels have some excellent gags, like Julia Roberts' character impersonating the real Julia Roberts in "Ocean's 12," or "Ocean's 13" having the whole "the nose plays" bit and the hilarious and poignant subplot about factory workers in Mexico going on strike — a bit that just get more timely with age.
It's been over 15 years since the last with Clooney and Soderbergh, and we haven't heard about a reunion — until now. Speaking with Uproxx, George Clooney has an exciting update about a potential follow-up to "Ocean's 13."

George Clooney will be back with another “Ocean’s” heist film, the actor confirmed.
Clooney told Uproxx while promoting “The Boys in the Boat,” which he directed, that there is a script in the works for a fourth “Ocean’s” film set after the events of 2007 movie “Ocean’s 13.” The film concluded Steven Soderbergh’s crime comedy trilogy at the time, and later led to 2018 spin-off “Ocean’s 8” starring Sandra Bullock as the sister of Clooney’s (presumed dead) character.
“We have a really good script for another ‘Ocean’s’ now, so we may end up doing another one,” Clooney said. “It’s actually a great script.”
Clooney added that the film won’t be called “Ocean’s 14,” saying, “Well … I don’t want to call it that … I mean, the idea is kind of like ‘Going in Style.'”
The reference is to 1979 heist comedy “Going In Style,” directed by Martin Brest.

George Clooney may be returning to the “Ocean’s” franchise. In a new interview with Uproxx while promoting his movie “The Boys in the Boat,” the actor revealed that a script for another “Ocean’s” movie exists that would seemingly reunite the original trilogy’s cast for a movie set after the events of 2007’s “Ocean’s 13.” Clooney did not provide any concrete details.

[This story contains spoilers for Leave the World Behind.]
Sam Esmail’s Leave the World Behind currently ranks atop Netflix’s film chart, and longtime fans of the filmmaker are now decoding its place in his greater universe of storytelling.
Ten minutes into the thriller, Mr. Robot buffs likely picked up on a familiar site: a yellow emergency preparedness kit with the branding of the USA series’ villainous corporation, E-Corp. That bucket would serve as one of several early signals that a cyberattack would incite the film’s imminent disaster and systematic destabilization of the United States. Esmail had already wanted to make a disaster film that revolved around a cyberattack, and when he read Rumaan Alam’s novel, Leave the World Behind, he knew he could merge that idea with his existing universe of stories, not just Mr. Robot.

Hollywood star Julia Roberts, who is known for ‘Erin Brockovich’, ‘Notting Hill’, ‘Ocean’s Twelve’ and others, rarely shares pictures of her twins, Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Walter.
However, she chose to publicly celebrate their 19th birthday, and she has shared the reason behind the same, reports ‘People’ magazine.
“It is something to be celebrated, and I know Instagram is a place where people like to share happy things,” Roberts, 56, told Extra. “I love them so much and I really did just happen to come upon this cute picture (sic)”, the actress added. “It allows me to share something as a proud parent of them without infringing on their privacy at all (sic).”
On November 28, the ‘Erin Brockovich’ Oscar winner shared an old photo of Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Walter as infants, sitting in her lap. “There are no words for the joy, the fun, the wild rumpus of life together”, she captioned the shot.

Ahead of the release of her new film, Doctor Jekyll, the actor and comedian talks about running for parliament, the monarchy, orgies, and what George Clooney smells like
I loved you in [the 1998 musical drama] Velvet Goldmine; a superb and disruptive movie. Did you enjoy the shooting? GasparGarcao
There’s an orgy scene which – in this very rock’n’roll way – we shot at 10am. It was a Steadicam shot, so everyone had to be acting all the time because you don’t know where the camera is looking. It was about a six-minute take where everyone was going for it in this big room. Then they go, “Cut!”, everyone stops, then someone says: “Ok, go for another take.” I was with the wonderful Emily Woof and just had to get very intimate, very quickly. You stop, mark time and go back into it.
What does George Clooney smell like? TopTramp
George Clooney smells very George Clooneyish.

Josey McNamara is teasing the Ocean’s 11 prequel that is in the works and set to star Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, reuniting the Barbie stars in a new film.
“They’re wonderful together. The more projects even outside of that we can have them do would be amazing,” McNamara told Games Radar at the BFI London Film Festival during the Saltburn red carpet.
In terms of the actual premise of the film, McNamara kept mum but teased that it would “do right by the franchise.”
“I can’t really say much,” McNamara said, “but I think we’re just trying to do right by the franchise. I’m excited for people to experience it when it’s ready.”
The film has been in “active development” since last year with Carrie Solomon penning the prequel set in 1960s Europe. Robbie and Tom Ackerly will produce for LuckyChap, alongside Roach and Michelle Graham for Everyman Pictures.

Whether running for parliament or in multiple marathons, performing on film and in multilingual standup, the star will be here to tell you how on earth she does it
From running 32 marathons in 31 days to performing shows in French, Arabic, German, Russian and Spanish, to a bid to stand as Labour parliamentary candidate for Brighton Pavilion, there’s no doubt Eddie Izzard has – and is continuing – to live a remarkable life. On the silver screen, Izzard has appeared in everything from The Avengers to Ocean’s Twelve/Thirteen to Shadow of the Vampire, and is about to star as Dr Nina Jekyll/Rachel Hyde in a gender-swapping remake of the classic Robert Louis Stevenson tale.
Talking of gender-swapping, Izzard adopted female pronouns in 2020, and now likes to be called either Eddie or Suzy. “I am gender-fluid,” she told the Guardian earlier this year. “I don’t want to lose Eddie. What...

Choona is an exceptional tale of a heist coupled with political satire set in the Hindi heartland of India. This Netflix original did everything right in almost all departments and allowed the audience to indulge in the political nitty-gritty of a state that is known for rampant corruption. Several characters in Choona come forward to dethrone a corrupt politician who seems to be too confident for his own good.
The first season of Choona ended with the gang completing the heist, robbing 800 crores of cash from Shukla’s party office. The man was in utmost shock at the way the entire burglary was conducted. It is understood that this gang took advantage of Shukla’s belief system and his paranoia regarding the protection of the money he accumulated. All of them made sure to come forward and reveal their identities to let Shukla know the motive behind this robbery. All...

Summer isn’t over yet but HBO and its streaming arm Max are already moving on to fall. With its list of new releases for August 2023, Max is focusing on football! The American kind, mind you, not the actually footy kind.
August 2023 sees the release of two major football documentaries on HBO and Max. The first is the premiere of Hard Knocks on Aug. 10. The new season of long-running NFL training camp docuseries will center on the New York Jets, new employers of legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers. On Aug. 23, Max will air the aptly named Bs High. The doc tells the stranger-than-fiction story of high school football team Bishop Sycamore, which pulled off one of the more notable sports scams you’re likely to ever hear about.
Not of the football variety but in keeping with the North American sports theme will be season 2 of Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty on Aug.

The heist movie is a timeless popular classic. It always seems like the perfect, victimless crime. When we watch this type of movie, we are usually on the side of the gang of robbers and find ourselves rooting for them to get away with their audacious crime.
The films telling the story of Danny Ocean have been some of the most popular of the modern era. Ocean’s Eleven was released in the US on December 7th, 2001. It became the fifth-highest-grossing film of the year, with global box office receipts of $450.7 million. With an all-star cast including George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, and Brad Pitt, it was a remake of a movie from 1960 by the same name.
With heist movies, it seems like the more challenging the heist, the more entertaining it gets for movie-goers. And what can be more challenging than stealing from the heavily-guarded casinos of Las Vegas?...

In the third episode of "What We Do in the Shadows" season 2, entitled "Brain Scramblies", the show's vampire characters Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Nadja (Natasia Dimitriou), and Laszlo (Matt Berry) have been invited to what they assume is a Superb Owl party. Being ancient vampires with no knowledge of modern-day human foibles, they aren't savvy enough to understand that it will be a Super Bowl party.
They arrive at the home of their neighbor, Sean (Anthony Atamanuik), and only then does Sean realize that he never sees Nandor, Nadja, and Laszlo during the daytime, so he jokingly says they must be vampires. Fearing that their (barely-disguised) vampirism has actually been discovered by their neighbor, Nandor and Laszlo decide to hypnotize him and erase his memories. When Sean is showing off his room of "Ocean's Twelve" memorabilia, they strike.

The star-studded Ocean’s Eleven cast could’ve looked a little different.
George Clooney recently confirmed reports that both Mark Wahlberg and Johnny Depp were approached to play Linus in the first installment of Steven Soderbergh’s now-iconic franchise. The role eventually went to Matt Damon.
The film’s A-list cast also included Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Andy Garcia and Don Cheadle, among others, with producer Jerry Weintraub and a great script to help them assemble their team. Nonetheless, they ran into some roadblocks.
“Steven had just done Erin Brockovich and Traffic, and he was nominated for directing both films,” Clooney said during an Ocean’s Eleven panel at the 2023 TCM Film Festival. “So, people really wanted to work with Steven.”
“That said, some people did say no to us,” Soderbergh chimed in. “They did,” Clooney replied. “Some very famous people told us to fuck right off. Mark Wahlberg, Johnny Depp.

Steven Soderbergh’s beloved 2001 heist comedy “Ocean’s Eleven” remains one of the director’s most star-studded affairs thanks to an ensemble that included George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Julia Roberts, Don Cheadle and more. Oh, baby. I think ABC has another hit on its hands, and it comes in the form of another sudsy primetime drama with the venerable Milo Ventimiglia as the head of the ship.
The Company You Keep is like a fascinating twist on Romeo and Juliet, which, as we know, saw the children of two feuding families falling in love. Here, these families aren't feuding (yet), but their children are undoubtedly embarking on a clandestine relationship that has all the makings for a tragic end.
But let's not worry about the ending right now, when things are just beginning, and everything is oh, so sweet. Instead, let's dive into The Company You Keep Season 1 Episode 1, a pilot that makes a strong case for this series to be the latest addition to your must-watch list.

The Khan sisters aren’t just big dreamers; they’re big doers. Well, sort of. The British-Pakistani siblings — including oldest sister Lena (Ritu Arya) and baby sib Ria (breakout star Priya Kansara) — have always strived to carve their own path in the world, but as Lena’s dreams of being an artist start to wane, Ria’s aspirations to become a world-class stunt performer take on a much more important cast. Mostly, she’s gotta turn her love of ass-kicking into something that can do nothing less than save her entire world.

Are streamers killing indie cinema, or could Netflix be a lifeline for ground-breaking filmmaking? There are solid arguments for both sides, but David Cronenberg firmly believes that streaming services are the future. He knows that streaming has changed the way we watch movies, for better or worse, and has chosen to embrace this change rather than reject it. In fact, the writer-director's upcoming film "The Shrouds" was originally written as a Netflix series.
"The Shrouds" is set to star Vincent Cassel alongside Léa Seydoux. Seydoux starred in Cronenberg's 2022 film "Crimes of the Future" and has appeared in Bond movies and Wes Anderson movies alike. Cassel had his breakout role in the contemporary cult classic "La Haine" and has gone on to star in "Ocean's 12" and "Black Swan." He also collaborated with Cronenberg on "Eastern Promises" and "A Dangerous Method."

Don Cheadle is gearing up for his return in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming continuation of Rhodey’s saga with Armor Wars. The actor is often relegated to a supporting role in the franchise but this will put him front and centre. Of course, the MCU isn’t the first time Cheadle would be part of a massive ensemble., Cheadle was also previously part of the A-list Ocean’s franchise as the explosives expert, Basher. Variety reports that Cheadle recently spoke about how often fans would say to his face that they hated Ocean’s Twelve, the middle of the trilogy.
Cheadle would already garner criticism in the films with his over-the-top British accent, and now, the actor talks candidly in an interview with GQ magazine that people are uninhibitedly vocal to him about their hatred to that movie as a whole.

The farther away we get from it, the more "Ocean's Twelve" looks like somewhat of a miracle to me. Steven Soderbergh, high off the success of winning Best Director for "Traffic" and the box office smash that was "Ocean's Eleven," had the ability to flex his power by taking a sequel that took a dramatic left turn away from the appeal of that first movie. Every sequel Hollywood cranks out is so much of "the first movie but more," but Soderbergh completely shakes up the style. Naturally, most people weren't into it, but those of us who were couldn't have been more thrilled.
Because the film is such a departure, the place they arrived at was obviously not the first instinct of the filmmakers when discussing a sequel. In fact, the screenwriter for "Ocean's Eleven," Ted Griffin, did not even come along for the sequel. However, that did not mean...

Don Cheadle has been a staple of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for nearly 12 years as James “Rhodey” Rhodes/War Machine, but the MCU isn’t the only franchise the actor has under his belt. Cheadle starred as explosives expert Basher Tarr opposite George Clooney, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt in Steven Soderbergh’s “Ocean’s Eleven” trilogy between 2001 and 2007. While the 2001 installment is universally beloved, the far more comedic “Ocean’s Twelve” proved divisive with fans. Cheadle recently told GQ magazine that fans often come up to him to bash “Ocean’s Twelve” to his face.
“When we came back to do the second film, we hadn’t seen each other for a long time,” Cheadle said. “We hadn’t all been together. We were just reuniting, so we were just milling around for an hour and then we realized, ‘Oh wait, we’re actually here to shoot something.’”
Cheadle continued, “I love...

Don Cheadle is over “Ocean’s 12” being mocked.
The Oscar winner addressed the fan hate for the “Ocean’s 11” sequel starring George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Julia Roberts. Cheadle played British explosives expert Basher Tarr in the Europe-set heist film.
“It was a lot of grinding on an accent that I have been both vilified and praised for,” Cheadle said during a GQ video interview. “When we came back to do the second film, we hadn’t seen each other for a long time. Cheadle continued, “I love it that the second movie is the one that people will just unabashedly walk up to me and go, ‘Yeah, I hated that one. That one sucked.

If you can’t do what Julia Roberts did for her Bff George Clooney, are you even a Bff? ‘Erin Brockovich’ star Julia Roberts wore a gown covered with photos of Hollywood star George Clooney.
The two have worked together in many movies like ‘Ocean’s Eleven’, ‘Ocean’s Twelve’, ‘Money Monster’ and ‘Ticket to Paradise’. The 55-year-old actress made her fun fashion statement to show support for George, 61 at the Kennedy Center Honours ceremony in Washington DC, reports ‘The Mirror’.
Her dress featured framed snaps of the actor throughout his career, dating from his early days as Doug Ross on ER. The actress rounded up her look with a black jacket.
George won a lifetime achievement honour for his role in US cultural life.

Well, well, well, if it isn't another pending sale of a big production company with a big media library. Hasbro, the toy company known for "Monopoly" and "My Little Pony," among many other things, got into the media game in a big way in late 2019 with a flashy 4 billion acquisition of eOne, to give the company in-house ability to turn its properties into movies and TV shows. Now? Hasbro is getting ready to sell eOne after pivoting internally to a new strategy.
In a press release, Hasbro revealed that its board has authorized a sale process for eOne, particularly the TV and film business not directly supporting the company's "branded entertainment strategy." In other words, Hasbro still wants to be able to make stuff connected to its toys, just not through eOne in-house. Chris Cocks, Hasbro's new CEO, had this to say:
"Following our recent Investor Day where we introduced our new branded entertainment strategy,...
