On April 26, Clint Howard will make his debut on The Bold and the Beautiful as Tom, a homeless man who Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) encounter in their pursuit of solving a mystery. For the veteran performer, adding the credit to his resumé was a welcome change. “This is a surprising turn of events for me,” Howard admits. “I have never been a big soap opera guy, but to be on The Bold and the Beautiful, that’s a notch in my gun belt.” This isn’t Howard’s first time on a soap — he appeared on Santa Barbara as a character named Marshall for a handful of episodes in 1987. His most vivid memory of the experience was working alongside A Martinez (ex-Cruz Castillo). “A Martinez was an actor that I worked with a long, long time ago, in the mid-’70s, on a TV series called The Cowboys,...

What happened to Harrison on The Young and the Restless? That’s a question on Y&r fans’ minds for several reasons.
The CBS soap had a casting switcheroo just as a storyline featuring the youngest Abbott was heating up.
After playing Harrison since the character came on the scene in May 2021, Kellen Enriquez has exited the role.
On Friday, April 12, a new actor was playing Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer’s (Allison Lanier) young son.
The change-up comes as Harrison goes missing, and Claire (Hayley Erin) gets dubbed as his kidnapper.
More on that later because it also has fans wondering what happened to Harrison, but first, let’s take a look at the new actor playing him.
Who is playing Harrison on The Young and the Restless?
Redding Munsell has taken over the role of Harrison Abbott from Kellen. This is Redding’s first forte into the soap world.

The Young and the Restless (Y&r) spoilers reveal that the role of Harrison Locke has been recast with Redding Munsell. Kellen Enriquez debuted in the role in 2021.

Starring Gordon Cormier in the lead role, the Netflix series has a score of 59% on Rotten Tomatoes with an Audience Score of 75%. While there are clearly varying opinions about the show, the consensus calls it a “solid” attempt at a live-action adaptation.
Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender
Since the original series went on for 3 seasons, a couple more seasons from the Netflix series were expected. Recently, the show was renewed for a second and third season. Now, the important question is which characters will make it to the second season and which won’t. Apparently, actor A. Martinez is not too sure that his Avatar: The Last Airbender character will get a spot in season two.

The Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action adaptation maintains a fantasy setting inspired by Asian cultures, akin to the animated show. It is built around four nations and features elemental combat. The characters have carefully designed outfits, names, and hairstyles in the show, which enrich the depth of the world.
In the series, characters’ hairstyles depict their identities and origins. Their hair reflects both their personality and cultural background. It’s like a quick way to understand them without needing a lot of explanation.
The same is true for Katara. She’s a 14-year-old ‘waterbender’ who wields the power to control water, ice, and blood (known as bloodbending). Katara is born and raised in the Southern Water Tribe by her grandmother, Kanna, alongside her older brother, Sokka.
Katara in Avatar: The Last Airbender
Katara often styles her hair in loopies—a type of hairstyle worn in the Northern and Southern Water Tribes.

I don’t need to inform anyone that mainstream Hollywood entertainment is still in the grips of a franchise and IP based fervor. Mega franchises, sequels, reboots, requels, remakes – all of these have been the lion’s share of high profile releases for well over a decade now. Everything from the most recognizable franchises in film history to more niche pop cultural artifacts have been resurrected, dusted off, and had a new coat of paint air-brushed on.
Every day across social media the online film community seems to litigate “the state” of Hollywood.
Superhero fatigue. Franchise fatigue. You know the discourse. Personally, I take as much of a nonchalant attitude with all this stuff as I can. I have my peccadillos. I have my areas of agreement regarding “the state” of Hollywood. But at the end of the day I’m just…a dude. A dude who just wants to...

AMC is heading into more Dark Winds.
The cable network has renewed the crime drama for a third season, coming a couple of weeks after season two finished its run.
The series is planned to premiere in early 2025, a noticeable shift from the summer premiere of its first two seasons, but understandable given the writers and actors strike.
It comes after Dark Winds made its debut on Warner Bros. Discovery’s Max service as part of a two-month pop-up.
Dark Winds stars Zahn McClarnon, Kiowa Gordon and Jessica Matten.
The first season of the series, which is produced by AMC Studios, drew 2.2M viewers on AMC for its June 2022 launch in Live+3 ratings. The company said that the second season averaged 1.7M viewers each week in Live+3, per Nielsen and saw “significant” viewership and acquisition gains from season one on AMC+.

There are always mystical forces at play in Lt. Joe Leaphorn's world.
But it wasn't apparent after Dark Winds Season 2 Episode 1 if any magic was involved in his current case.
A mysterious cult is at the center of this season's case, based on "People of Darkness," the fourth volume of Tony Hillerman's Navajo Tribal Police series.
Things started with a bang, with Lt. Joe Leapcorn and his faithful sergeant Bernie Manuelito pinned under semiautomatic fire by a suspect they had been chasing.
But a quick cutaway later, and we'll be gaining context for the rest of the season leading up to that fateful moment.
Poor Joe began with a rare day off: riding his horse, letting loose the sheep, and tinkering on his motorcycle. Of course, that couldn't last.
That was because the person he loves most in the world, his saintly wife Emma, soon found herself in danger.

Early in the new season of Dark Winds, a wealthy woman hires Jim Chee to help recover a lockbox that was stolen from her home. A skeptical Chee says that the job sounds simple, “Except nothing ever is.”
You definitely cannot call Dark Winds Season Two simple. It features a pair of mysteries that inevitably connect in complicated ways that can at times require intense concentration to follow. Just as importantly, the series is even more ambitious in its depiction of life, death, and policing on a Navajo reservation in the early Seventies.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has released the names of its newest round of invitees, increasing the number of voting members past 10,000, should everyone accept.
