There are two interesting performances contained within Girl, an otherwise wholly uninteresting film. On the surface, this is just a B movie that you would find once upon a time in the discount DVD bin. At the same time, you have Bella Thorne doing some of her best work to date in the title role, as well as Mickey Rourke at his most menacing. Is that enough to make the flick worthy of the watch? Not at all, but it does give it some personality that’s otherwise lacking. Thorne’s fans will appreciate what she’s doing here, so they’ll be pleased, at least. The movie is a thriller, with revenge elements thrown in for good measure. When an unnamed young woman (Thorne) gets off the bus that’s taken her back to her small backwoods hometown, she has a goal in mind. Her plan? Confront and kill her abusive father.

The day Audrey (Sheila McCarthy) and Henry Walsh’s (Julian Richings) grandson Jackson died was the day they sold their souls to the Devil—figuratively speaking, of course. It wasn’t until they joined a Satanist church run by a bunch of posers in a community center that the idea to bring him back became more than simply a fantasy. That’s where they learned about an ancient book of dark magic possessing the means to do so and how they might find it. With all questions about its legitimacy evaporated after one of its spells inexplicably helps a dead crow fly again, the time finally arrived to fulfill their intention of transferring Jackson’s soul into another woman’s (Konstantina Mantelos’ Becker) unborn baby so that he may live once more.
We meet this trio on the day of the kidnapping only to learn the Walshs left nothing to chance.

Sam (Jared Padalecki) is being chased by the police and runs into an alley and a bar where he meets a bartender - Robin. (Erica Cerra) He can't recall his name. "I don't remember anything." He woke on the park bench and doesn't have time for a doctor as he needs to be somewhere to stop something important. Sam's wall breaks as was expected since he got his soul back and now that finally happens. Maybe that shouldn't be wall but levee. Sam finds an Hp Lovecraft book on the shelf. Then has flashes where he he finds a hotel on a computer - where he's staying. Robin goes with him. Sam: "I could be anybody." Ooh eerie echo of Meg's words from season 1 ep Scarecrow when she met Sam hitchhiking and said she could be some dangerous "freak." Bobby's on a supply run when Balthazar (Sebastian Roche) arrives. He's seen the Godfather movie. Balthazar is big on movies isn't he? Just like Dean (Jensen Ackles) in a way. They wanted Dean to be the meat suit for the wrong angel, me thinks, last season. He draws a symbol on the window. Raphael's after him, which is no big thing. He's after everyone if you think about it, but let's not. Oh oops, he says that too. Cas (Misha Collins) is underground and wants to draw Cas out into the open. Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean go hurtling through the window into an alternate reality, of sorts. Balthazar manages to give Sam a key before they leave, as Virgil (Carlos Sanz) comes after Balthazar. Surprise, surprise Sam and Dean end up on a TV show, the filming of Supernatural. Bobby singer (Brian Doyle Murphy) thinks the window part was...

Donovan’s Echo Trailer. Jim Cliffe‘s Donovan’s Echo (2011) movie stars Danny Glover, Bruce Greenwood, Chelah Horsdal, Sonja Bennett, and Natasha Calis. Donovan’s Echo‘s plot synopsis: “Once a brilliant mathematician, Donovan Matheson (Danny Glover) has been an outcast since an accident that killed his wife and daughter three decades ago for which he blames himself. He finally returns home as the tragic event’s 30th anniversary approaches and begins discovering similarities to what had happened to him in the past. Convinced history is repeating itself, Donovan risks everything to save an unsuspecting family from the same tragic fate.”
Great premise but the execution may be a little dubious. It’s strength is the storyline and that it may remind the viewer of Rubicon and Proof because Danny Glover’s character is a mathematician and there is a visible mystery.
Donovan’s Echo also stars David Lewis, Hiro Kanagawa,...

Words are, there are some deaths in the season finale. Also in the episodes, Lanette Ware appears as Raphael, Mark A. Sheppard returns as Crowley and Kim Johnston Ulrich returns as Dr. Visyak.
"Let It Bleed" and "The Man Who Knew Too Much" will air Friday, May 20 starting at 8:00 P.

We should celebrate our dead Presidents more often it seems! Just in time for the long President's Day weekend, The CW sent over an assortment of stills from the upcoming "Supernatural" episode "The French Mistake", wherein the Winchesters break the fourth wall, along with "And Then There Were None", in which Samuel and Bobby finally square off. Dig 'em!

Finally! After not releasing any promo photos for last week's episode and this coming episode (forcing me to use generic shots for my recaps - argh!) The CW has released a slew of photos for the upcoming meta episode of Supernatural, which will be airing on February 25.
Written by resident funnyman Ben Edlund, "The French Mistake" finds Sam and Dean transported to an alternate reality. Raphael, who's vessel was previously destroyed and is now played by Lanette Ware, decides to go after Castiel and his allies in Heaven. So, naturally, he sends an angelic hitman after Balthazar, Dean and Sam. Balthazar decides to be nice and protect the Winchesters, sending them to an alternate reality where they are actors on a TV show called Supernatural and their names are Jared and Jensen.
Jared's real life wife - and former co-star - Genevieve Cortese returns to play....well, Sam's wife. Misha Collins gets to play himself,...

Fans were pretty upset about last week's substitution of "The Vampire Diaries" for "Supernatural", but all returns to normal this week when The CW airs the long awaited Episode 12, "Like a Virgin". In the meantime those of you who've been curious about the upcoming "meta" episode that breaks the fourth wall, we have a full synopsis of "The French Mistake", which debuts February 25th.

"Supernatural" has blurred the line between fiction and reality reality before, most notably in episodes like "The Monster at the End of This Book," which briefly explored the show's online fandom, and in "The Real Ghostbusters," which saw Sam and Dean at a fan convention similar to the ones at which the show's stars frequently appear.
In the upcoming episode "The French Mistake," the show takes meta to a whole new height. The CW recently released the following episode description for the episode, which is expected to air on Friday, Feb. 25:
