If there’s one thing Rhett & Link have learned about their Good Mythical Morning audience over the last decade, it’s that people love food.
Specifically, they love watching Rhett & Link taste food: good food, bad food, cheap food, ungodly expensive food. Their Will It? series, where they submit various food items to questionable transformations, is one of the most popular on their channel, and taste tests of all kinds have become a staple of the content that’s driven their channel to nearly 20 million subscribers.
Rhett & Link also love food. That’s why, almost exactly two years ago, their Mythical team launched Sporked, a foodie-focused site with debut articles like a definitive ranking of uncomfortably sexy cereal mascots, an (objectively correct) argument for why it should be normal to consume sauces like soup, and “why Easter candy absolutely rips.”
Sporked has since grown to nearly 2 million pageviews per month,...

In a new cooking competition series, creator contestants are vying for the ultimate prize: A personal insult from Gordon Ramsay himself. The hot-blooded chef and TV host has premiered Idiot Sandwich, which he is distributing through his official YouTube channel.
Idiot Sandwich got its start as a bit on The Late Late Show With James Corden. As part of a Hell’s Kitchen parody, Ramsey personified one of his favorite barbs by holding pieces of bread on both sides of a person’s head. And thus, the “idiot sandwich” meme was born; it’s now evolving into a full-fledged series that will feature creators like Rhett & Link, Zach King, and Lexi Hensler.
Rhett & Link, who reach more than 18 million subscribers with their show Good Mythical Morning, guest-starred on the premiere episode of Idiot Sandwich. The two YouTube legends took on Mythical Kitchen host Josh Scherer in a sandwich-making showdown,...

A slew of internet celebs are starring in a new sandwich competition from Gordon Ramsay.
The celebrity chef is launching Idiot Sandwich on his YouTube channel tomorrow (Wednesday January 17).
Comedy duo Rhett & Link, magician Zach King and social media influencer Lexi Hensler are among those starring in the series, which originated from a clip of Ramsay on The Late Late Show with James Corden where he held two slices of bread against Julie Chen’s face as he was yelling at her in a kitchen.
The series is produced by Fox joint venture Studio Ramsay Global, hosted and exec produced by Ramsay, with episodes launching weekly on Ramsay’s YouTube channel, which has over 20M followers.
There are no current plans for a linear show, but the idea is to expand into the world of book publishing, products, merchandising and experiences.
Ramsay said, “It was incredible to watch that one tongue-in-cheek moment,...

Rhett & Link fans now have a mythical way to start their mornings.
The YouTube duo have launched MishMash, a classic 90s-style cereal brand they promise comes with “a mouthful of nostalgia.”
Their production company Mythical has released plenty of merch and products in the past (and is currently gearing up to release an official cookbook in March 2024), but this is Rhett & Link’s first direct-to-consumer food product. The perennial creators partnered with product manufacturing company Warren James to bring the concept from ideation to breakfast tables. (MishMash is also one of the first major food products Warren James has worked on since its $6 million fund raise last September to do just that.)
MishMash comes in two flavors: Sweet Mac N’ Mello, which has macaroni-shaped puffed corn “noodles” with marshmallows; and Peanut Butter N’ Honey Sandwich, which is, well, probably exactly what you think.
Both flavors are available only in MishMash’s digital storefront,...
