Michael G. Gresham brings to the entertainment production industry 40 years of railroad operations and management experience and a concurrent 20-year military career.
Most recently, Mike supported Rail Transportation Management Specialists (RTMS) railroad operations for three episodes of the ABC's "Women of the Movement" limited series (Kapital Entertainment) with on-site safety and support for Art and Construction departments; equipment scouting and escort services; and passenger car mechanical repair. With his RTMS colleagues, Gresham is now working on a leading studio's major theatrical feature that involves extensive railroad scenes.
Through his work with (RTMS), Gresham is providing the entertainment industry with "safe, on-time, on-budget" solutions for the film, music, theatre, and VIP transportation industries.
Theatrically, he has supported Warner Bros. on-train productions of "Polar Express" events ("theatre on a moving train") in multiple locations across the U.S. Musical projects include providing railroad passenger equipment to international recording artists Mumford & Sons for the critically acclaimed "Railroad Revival Tour."
Gresham's experience spans the complete range of railroad operations and management. When tied together with a 20-year Air Force career that included Space and Missile Operations and Maintenance, Gresham provides goal-oriented operational railroad support for safely filming railroad scenes.
Gresham earned multiple accolades in the military, government, and private industry arenas for safety, disaster response, mass-casualty, and active shooter response training programs. Awards and recognition have been received from the 50th Space Wing (Colorado Springs, CO), Capital Metro Emergency Services (Austin, TX), and the American Association of Railroads' prestigious "Lighting the Way for Safety" for best safety practices.
