- Shing-Ming Ho was born in Taipei, Taiwan. Shing-Ming is known for Us and Them (2018), Taste of Life (2015) and Bang jia you xi (2022).
- Received a B. A. from National Cheng-Chi University in Radio and Television Production, and an M. F. A from Boston University's College of Communications in Film Production.
- Wrote 20 episodes of the popular Taiwan television series "Once Upon A Time in Taiwan."
- Following his graduation from Cheng-Chi University, Shing-Ming Ho spent two years in Taiwan's army.
- Was nominated for a Golden Bell Award (Taiwan's version of the Emmy) in 2000 for an episode of "Once Upon a Time" that he wrote. He learned of the nomination while attending film school at Boston University.
- Currently dividing his time between Taiwan and the Chinese mainland where he is at work writing two television series (60 episodes) as well as music videos and advertisements.
