Emily is an emerging production designer living and working on Gadigal Land in Sydney, Australia. She is passionate about the art of design and enjoys creating immersive and emotive spaces on film.
She is a graduate of both the AFTRS Bachelor of Arts (2017) and Masters of Arts In Production Design (2022) programs. During her Masters, Emily designed 3 capstone films. MumLife (2022), a surreal, pop musical, has been selected for the highly prestigious Cannes Film Festival, where Emily and other key crew will be attending the premiere in May 2022. Other festival highlights for Emily's previous works include Sydney Film Festival, St Kilda Film Festival, Cinequest and Flickerfest.
Emily has been working professionally in the Art department across numerous films and television series since 2016. Career highlights so far include working with Netflix on their series Wellmania, Goalpost Pictures on their upcoming feature film Carmen and with Amazon Studios series Class of '07.
Emily is a big advocate for the power of good design to enhance storytelling across screen platforms. She is looking forward to continuing to immerse herself in the Australian and international screen industries to challenge her growing creative skills.
