Aaron Paul was born Aaron Paul Sturtevant in Emmett, Idaho, to Darla (Haynes) and Robert Sturtevant, a retired Baptist minister. While growing up, Paul took part in church programs, and performed in plays.
He attended Centennial High School in Boise, Idaho. It was there, in eighth grade, that Aaron decided he wanted to become an actor. He joined the theatre department and became obsessed with the idea of acting for a living. After finishing school, Aaron moved to Los Angeles.
During the late '90's, he worked as an usher at the Universal Studios Movie Theatre in Hollywood. His television debut was in an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990), which was followed by an appearance in another Aaron Spelling series, Melrose Place (1992).
On the big screen, Aaron played the estranged son of Jeff Bridges in K-PAX (2001), and Tom Cruise's brother-in-law in Mission: Impossible III (2006).
After appearing in several roles on American television, his breakthrough role came as "Jesse Pinkman" in the AMC series Breaking Bad (2008). The character was only supposed to last for one season, but series creator Vince Gilligan changed his mind, due to Aaron's chemistry with Bryan Cranston. He has won three Emmy Awards for "Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series" for this role (2010, 2012 and 2014).- Actress

Gorgeous, brown-eyed, chestnut-maned Sherry Jackson began her promising career as a pig-tailed, pleasant-looking child actress. Born in Idaho on February 15, 1942, she was the only daughter of four children born to Maurita Kathleen Gilbert and Curtis Loys Jackson, Sr. Her father died when she was 6, and the family relocated to Los Angeles. Her mother married television writer/director/actor Montgomery Pittman, who died of cancer in 1962. Sherry's mother provided her daughter drama, singing and dancing lessons as a child. The story goes that the little girl was discovered by a talent agent while she and her mother were waiting for a bus. She began her career at age 7 with small, un-billed bit parts in You're My Everything (1949), For Heaven's Sake (1950), Lorna Doone (1951), The Great Caruso (1951), and two of the "Ma and Pa Kettle" films series, Ma and Pa Kettle Go to Town (1950) and Ma and Pa Kettle Back on the Farm (1951), as Susie Kettle, one of the couple's numerous children.
Sherry gained more attention as her parts increased in size, holding her own among the Hollywood's movie elite, including moppet star Bobby Driscoll in When I Grow Up (1951); John Garfield and Patricia Neal in The Breaking Point (1950); and rugged Steve Cochran in the "B" western The Lion and the Horse (1952). She earned good notices as John Wayne's daughter in Trouble Along the Way (1953), but her most impressive role during this time was as a Portuguese youngster who witnesses a vision in the religious offering The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima (1952). At age 11, she made appearances on both "The Roy Rogers Show" and "The Gene Autry Show". She literally grew up on the small screen as Danny Thomas' daughter Terry Williams on the comedy series The Danny Thomas Show (1953) which co-starred Jean Hagen as her mother and Rusty Hamer as her pesky younger brother. A cast change occurred in 1956 when Hagen, who did not get along with Danny Thomas, opted to leave the show (Hagen's character was killed off between seasons) and a step-mother (played by Marjorie Lord) and step-sister (played by Angela Cartwright) helped increase the ratings. During the show's run, she was given a strong teen role in the film drama Come Next Spring (1956) as the daughter of Ann Sheridan and Steve Cochran.
Named a "Deb Star" in 1959, Sherry played a number of beguiling victims or bewitching vixens on such 60's programs as "77 Sunset Strip," "Mr. Novak," "The Twilight Zone," "Hawaiian Eye," "Gunsmoke," "Perry Mason," "Gomer Pyle," "The Virginian," "My Three Sons," "Batman" and "The Wild, Wild West." On film, the vivacious beauty was pretty much relegated to minor cult worship in low-budgets or exploitation films -- Wild on the Beach (1965), Gunn (1967), The Mini-Skirt Mob (1968) and The Monitors (1969). One could usually spot Sherry somewhere as a biker babe, party chick, capricious rich girl or scantily-clad fem-fatale with character names such as "Comfort", "Shasta", "Lola" and "Mona" pretty much putting a stamp on her typecast.
Her adult work remained a sexy standard throughout the 1970's as seen in the TV-movies Wild Women (1970), Hitchhike! (1974), The Girl on the Late, Late Show (1974), Returning Home (1975), and Casino (1980). She also reprised her role as Terry Williams in the premiere episode (only) of the series Make Room for Granddaddy (1970) and appeared in the glamorous title role of Brenda Starr, Reporter (1979), an unsold TV pilot. As a guest star, she participated in such well-established series as "Love, American Style", "Get Christie Love", "The Rockford Files", "Matt Helm", "Barnaby Jones", "The Streets of San Francisco", "Starsky & Hutch", "The Incredible Hulk", "Fantasy Island", "Charlie's Angels", and "CHiPs".
A few forgettable films came her way with Cotter (1973), Bare Knuckles (1977) and Stingray (1978), but she grew hard-pressed to find more challenging parts. By the early 1990s, a frustrated Sherry let her career slide away. She was last seen onscreen of an episode of the soap opera "Guiding Light" in 1992. Never married, she was involved in a fairly long-term relationship with business executive and horse breeder Fletcher R. Jones. That ended in 1972 when he died in a small plane crash.- Actress

Lana Turner had an acting ability that belied the "Sweater Girl" image MGM thrust upon her, and even many of her directors admitted that they knew she was capable of greatness (check out The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946)). Unfortunately, her private life sometimes overshadowed her professional accomplishments.
Lana Turner was born Julia Jean Mildred Francis Turner in Wallace, Idaho. There is some discrepancy as to whether her birth date is February 8, 1920 or 1921. Lana herself said in her autobiography that she was one year younger (1921) than the records showed, but then this was a time where women, especially actresses, tended to "fib" a bit about their age. Most sources agree that 1920 is the correct year of birth. Her parents were Mildred Frances (Cowan) and John Virgil Turner, a miner, both still in their teens when she was born. In 1929, her father was murdered and it was shortly thereafter her mother moved her and the family to California where jobs were "plentiful". Once she matured into a beautiful young woman, she went after something that would last forever: stardom. She wasn't found at a drug store counter, like some would have you believe, but that legend persists. She pounded the pavement as other would-be actors and actresses have done, are doing and will continue to do in search of movie roles.
In 1937, Lana entered the movie world, at 17, with small parts in They Won't Forget (1937), The Great Garrick (1937) and A Star Is Born (1937). These films didn't bring her a lot of notoriety, but it was a start. In 1938 she had another small part in Love Finds Andy Hardy (1938) starring Mickey Rooney. It was this film that made young men's hearts all over America flutter at the sight of this alluring and provocative young woman--known as the "Sweater Girl"--and one look at that film could make you understand why: she was one of the most spectacularly beautiful newcomers to grace the screen in years. By the 1940s Lana was firmly entrenched in the film business. She had good roles in such films as Johnny Eager (1941), Somewhere I'll Find You (1942) and Week-End at the Waldorf (1945). If her career was progressing smoothly, however, her private life was turning into a train wreck, keeping her in the news in a way no one would have wanted.
Without a doubt her private life was a threat to her public career. She was married eight times, twice to Stephen Crane. She also married Ronald Dante, Robert Eaton, Fred May, Lex Barker, Henry Topping and bandleader Artie Shaw. She also battled alcoholism. In yet another scandal, her daughter by Crane, Cheryl Crane, fatally stabbed Lana's boyfriend, gangster Johnny Stompanato, in 1958. It was a case that would have rivaled the O.J. Simpson murder case. Cheryl was acquitted of the murder charge, with the jury finding that she had been protecting her mother from Stompanato, who was savagely beating her, and ruled it justifiable homicide. These and other incidents interfered with Lana's career, but she persevered. The release of Imitation of Life (1959), a remake of a 1934 film (Imitation of Life (1934)), was Lana's comeback vehicle. Her performance as Lora Meredith was flawless as an actress struggling to make it in show business with a young daughter, her housekeeper and the housekeeper's rebellious daughter. The film was a box-office success and proved beyond a doubt that Lana had not lost her edge.
By the 1960s, however, fewer roles were coming her way with the rise of new and younger stars. She still managed to turn in memorable performances in such films as Portrait in Black (1960) and Bachelor in Paradise (1961). By the next decade the roles were coming in at a trickle. Her last appearance in a big-screen production was in Witches' Brew (1980). Her final film work came in the acclaimed TV series Falcon Crest (1981) in which she played Jacqueline Perrault from 1982-1983. After all those years as a sex symbol, nothing had changed--Lana was still as beautiful as ever.
She died on June 25, 1995, in Culver City, California, after a long bout with cancer. She was 74 years old.- Robyn Hilton was born on 13 July 1944 in Twin Falls, Idaho, USA. Self professed Star Trek geek who watched and loved the Trek series "Deep Space Nine" and set out to write for them. At the time, Star Trek had an open script submission policy and Fuller contributed a spec, leading to a pitching opportunity. When he had sold a couple of stories to Deep Space Nine, Fuller was hired to be a full staff writer for sister Trek series "Voyager" in its fourth season. He worked on Voyager for the remainder of its seven-year run, working his way up to co-producer of the series.
During the last year of Voyager, Fuller delivered the pilot spec for "Dead Like Me" to his agent who immediately sold it. "Dead Like Me" was canceled after two seasons, but Fuller was a trusted commodity at this point and moved on to create the short-lived but critically acclaimed "Wonderfalls".
Fuller has had a meteoric career in television and has worked non-stop since first pitching to Deep Space Nine in 1993. He wrote and produced an animated movie with Mike Mignola called "The Amazing Screw-On Head". He then moved on to co-executive produce and write for "Heroes" which became a smash hit. Even though it got picked up for a second season Fuller left the show to create his critically acclaimed new show "Pushing Daisies".- Actress

John Donovan Cannon graduated from high school in his hometown of Salmon, Idaho, in 1940. His subsequent studies at the Academy of Dramatic Arts were interrupted as a result of wartime military service from 1942 to 1945. After the war, Cannon returned to New York to complete his training and acting on the stage, both on and off-Broadway, trying his hand at a wide variety of parts, mostly in classical plays. He essayed "Petruchio" in "The Taming of the Shrew" and appeared on Broadway in "Henry IV", "Lysistrata" and "Peer Gynt". Leading roles were few and far between, however.
Once Cannon had found his niche as a frequent guest star on numerous television episodes, his career as a motion picture actor became somewhat desultory, though he had memorable roles in two films: as the road gang convict "Society Red" in Cool Hand Luke (1967); and as the gangster "Calhoun" in Cotton Comes to Harlem (1970). His first TV appearance was as a poker-hustling master sergeant in a 1958 episode of The Phil Silvers Show (1955). His tough screen persona was pretty well established by the mid-60's, though, against character, he portrayed the timid weakling "Lloyd Chandler" (witness to the original crime committed by the "one-armed man") in the final denouement installment of The Fugitive (1963). He was at his scene-stealing best in an episode of The Invaders (1967) as "Peter Kalter", a strangely sympathetic mobster who turns against his own outfit and aids the chief protagonist against the impending alien threat.
In his recurring role as lawman "Harry Briscoe" in the western comedy series Alias Smith and Jones (1971), Cannon was again given the opportunity to deliver some enjoyably caustic one-liners, something at which he excelled. He will arguably be most fondly remembered for his popular portrayal of the perpetually exasperated, choleric, cigar-chewing NYPD Chief of Detectives, "Peter B. Clifford", in McCloud (1970) (1970-77).- American character actor of stage, films, and television. A native of Idaho, Rainey was the son of a colorful character who was, among many other things, a champion of local dance contests. As a boy, Rainey was painfully shy, but found an outlet in school plays. He pursued stage work in regional companies, then went to New York to study with the legendary Michael Chekhov. He worked numerous "civilian" jobs while attempting to make a career as an actor, including work as a logger, a lineman, and a licensed carpenter. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II, then went to California where he helped start the Ojai Valley Players and then acted in his first film in 1949. He became a familiar face in films and television shows of all sorts during the next five decades while maintaining a deep attachment to the theatre. In his ninetieth year, he played Giles Corey in "The Crucible" at Theatricum Botanicum, the Topanga, California theatre founded by his friend, the late Will Geer.

Bright, vivacious Marjorie Reynolds (née Goodspeed) was born in Idaho on August 12, 1917 to a homemaker and a doctor and raised in Los Angeles. She made her film debut at age 6, then "retired" after only a few years to pursue a regular education.
She returned in the mid-1930s as a teenager and began the typical assembly-line route of extra and bit roles for various mega-studios, billed this time as Marjorie Moore. Her first speaking role was in Columbia Studio's Murder in Greenwich Village (1937), this time billed as Marjorie Reynolds; her first husband's last name, this was the moniker she maintained for the duration of her career.
The blonde (originally brunette) actress then went through a rather non-challenging prairie-flower phase opposite Hollywood's top western stars such as Tex Ritter, Buck Jones, Roy Rogers, and Tim Holt. It all paid off, however, when she won the top female role opposite Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire in the seasonal film classic Holiday Inn (1942), a role originally designed for Mary Martin. It remains Marjorie's most popular and cherished role on film, but it did not help her make a permanent transition into 'A' quality fare.
Marjorie continued as a dependable "B" co-lead in such films as Up in Mabel's Room (1944), Meet Me on Broadway (1946), and Heaven Only Knows (1947), with an exciting movie offer such as Fritz Lang's Ministry of Fear (1944) coming her way on a rare occasion.
Along with maturity and a new entertainment medium (television) in the 1950s came a return to her natural hair color. As William Bendix's patient, resourceful brunette wife on the comedy TV series The Life of Riley (1953), Marjorie became a semi-household name. Her career took a steep decline following its demise five years later and she was only sporadically seen in films, commercials, and TV guest spots after that.
She was married twice. Her first husband was Jack Reynolds, an Assistant Casting Director for Samuel Goldwyn. They had one daughter, Linda, before divorcing in 1952 after 16 years. Her second husband, film editor John Whitney, worked for a time in the 1940s as an actor. They were married for 32 years until his death in 1985.
Long retired, Marjorie died in 1997 of congestive heart failure after collapsing while walking her dog. Though she didn't fully live up to her potential as a serious, formidable actress, her gentle charm and obvious beauty certainly spruced up the 60+ films in which she appeared.- Actress

Kimberlee Peterson was raised most of her life in Colorado. From the time she was born, life was pretty much her stage. Whether she was trying out new moves in dance class or exploring the dangers of gymnastics, the one constant is that she did it with passion and determination. Her family was always amazed and entertained by her "presentation." As a child Kimberlee was slight in stature, had little freckles on her face, was pigeon-toed and inherited her mother's ears.
Growing up was tough as times for this sensitive heart, because sometimes other children made fun of the way she looked. At the tender young age of 4, she did some work in a Perry Mason television show. She continued to navigate towards the arts and at the age of 10, she did some training films for a police department. The response to her performance came with much praise and accolades. It was clear at this point, that she had the innate talent and passion to pursue an acting career. When she was twelve years old she competed in "Hooray For Hollywood" a competition that was held in Los Angeles. She won some awards and had legitimate interest from Hollywood agents and managers. The following year the trek was made to Los Angeles, for pilot season. Kimberlee booked some jobs and became eligible to join the Screen Actors Guild. The writing was on the wall. She had the substance and drive to pursue this love of acting. At the age of fourteen, Kimberlee and her mom went out to Los Angeles, for another pilot season and ended up permanently moving there. When she turned fifteen, she booked the lead in her first film, "Homecoming" opposite the legendary Anne Bancroft. Since that time she has acquired a full resume, working on television shows and film.
Kimberlee's sense of heart is one of the reasons she shines so brightly. Wherever this career takes her, a star truly has been born. She will make a difference in this world, because she's willing to go the distance.- Actor

Bobbie was born in 1942 in Moscow, Idaho. Her father was a U.S. Marine Corps Lieutenant who was killed in Guadalcanal during the Shelling of Henderson Field when she was less than a month old. Her mother married another Marine, Walter Richard Bartosh in 1945, producing her half-sister Sharon Lee Bartosh, born in 1947. Walter adopted her and he and her mother remained married until Walther's passing in 2014. She attended the University of Idaho, was a music teacher and onetime "Playboy" Bunny prior to embarking on an acting career.
Bresee gave a solid and impressive performance as a sweet and lovely young lady who becomes possessed by an evil sexually voracious demon in the fun fright feature Mausoleum (1983). (Bobbie was nominated for a Saturn Award as Best Actress for her fine acting in this film.) Bresee was quite funny as Smeg's mom in the crudely amusing Surf Nazis Must Die (1987) and had a memorably sexy bit as a luscious, but lethal temptress in the crummy Ghoulies (1984). Bobbie tackled a semi-autobiographical starring role as a faded aging B-movie starlet who transforms into a murderous humanoid insect monster after taking an experimental youthful serum in the delightfully dreadful Evil Spawn (1987). Bresee popped up in guest spots on the TV shows Charlie's Angels (1976), B.J. and the Bear (1978), The Love Boat (1977), Simon & Simon (1981), and The Fall Guy (1981). She had a recurring part on the daytime soap opera Santa Barbara (1984).
In real life Bobbie Bresee is an extremely charming and well-educated woman who plays the piano. - Roger Torrey was born on 9 May 1938 in Pocatello, Idaho, USA. The MC Bat Commander, fearless leader of The Aquabats, lead singer and all around swell guy has a penchant for saying the right thing at the right time to get the band motivated to action. Being the leader of a crack team of action commandos with a not-so-secret desire to be a popular rock band is not such an easy feat, but the Bat Commander seems to take it all in stride.
While the MCBC may be outwardly fearless and heroic, inside he is often conflicted and may not always have the right answer when it comes to a solution to a problem. This inner conflict adds to the Bat Commander's quiet insecurity about not having any real super powers beside being able to call the shots. The MC Bat Commander will sometimes back down to retreat and regroup when the odds seem too high.
Even with his own flawed bravado, he still cares deeply about his team and their goal to be seriously the best band in the world.- This multi-talented young lady won her first award at age two when her mother entered her into a local beauty pageant baby contest, and she's been coming in first ever since. Lovely brown-eyed, brunette Claire Du Brey enjoyed a rich, four-decade film career in all. Born Clara Violet Dubrey on August 31, 1892, in Bonner's Ferry Idaho, her family traveled the rugged Sierra Madre terrain by covered wagon in their move to California when she was 13.
Educated in a convent setting and once trained to be a nurse, Claire responded to an newspaper ad and found employment working part time in motion pictures. From there, she found herself in front of the camera, making her movie debut as star Billie Burke's friend in the Triangle release Peggy (1916). Universal saw a leading lady vamp in her, however, and from 1917 she enjoyed star billing in such silent short and feature-length vehicles as Princess Dione in the Rex Ingram-directed The Reward of the Faithless (1917); The Fighting Gringo (1917), opposite Harry Carey; Anything Once (1917) and The Winged Mystery (1917) both co-starring Franklyn Farnum; Brace Up (1918) with Herbert Rawlinson; the family drama The Magic Eye (1918); and A Man in the Open (1919) with Dustin Farnum. She also appeared in a number of Lon Chaney's early Universal vehicles such as The Rescue (1917) Pay Me! (1917) and Triumph (1917).
A versatile player whether asked to portray royalty, servants, temptresses or prairie flowers, Claire turned to Los Angeles stage plays during an early 1920s lull in film offers and graced such vehicles as "Madame X," "Spring Cleaning" and "The Youngest". Later "jazz age" film roles included The Sea Hawk (1924), Drusilla with a Million (1925) Exquisite Sinner (1926), and The Devil Dancer (1927).
During the declining period of her career (1928), Claire met actress Marie Dressler and they became close friends. Claire wound up serving as Dressler's secretary, fan mail handler and travel companion. In reward, Dressler arranged for Claire to get small roles a few of her talking films Politics (1931) and Prosperity (1932). She also served as Dressler's nurse in 1933 when the elder woman was dying of cancer.
As a character actress, Claire became much in demand throughout the late 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, appearing in general purpose roles as secretaries, nurses, salesladies, housekeepers, matrons, spinsters, relatives, etc. On a rare occasion she managed to stand out, none more so than in her mad scene as Bertha Rochester in a "B"-level version of Jane Eyre (1934) starring Colin Clive and Virginia Bruce. Seen sporadically on TV into the 1950s, she retired by the end of the decade. Her last film roles were in Girls Town (1959) and The Miracle (1959), both unbilled.
An early marriage to a doctor, Mark Gorman, ended in divorce. She lived another four decades after leaving the limelight. In her final years she grew deaf and her health quite fragile, dying at the age of 100 on August 1, 1993.- Bayley Corman was born in Boise, Idaho on December 28th, 1995. The move thrusted Bayley back into the film and television world and immediately inspired her to revisit her dream of becoming an actress. Born in St. Anthony, a small town in eastern Idaho, Bradford Harris attended UCLA in the early 1950s, where he played fullback on the football team while studying economics. His studies may have been intended as the groundwork for a career in his family's banking business, but Harris instead drifted into the fringes of Los Angeles' movie industry, and secured employment as a stunt man. In the late 1950s he traveled to Europe as the stunt co-ordinator for a German-Italian co-production. Soon he found himself working as a second-unit director, and that led to a starring role in Goliath Against the Giants (1961). His good looks and muscular build kept him in demand during the era of "sword and sandal" movies, and when this genre began to fade away, he moved into "spaghetti westerns" and a spate of action movies with an emphasis on spy thrillers. In 1967 he married actress Olga Schoberová.- Lisa Jay grew up in Boise, Idaho. She began a career internationally as a fashion model at the age of 17 before working in film and television.
