Just last week we got a glimpse at the new poster for Demons Never Die, a UK horror film produced by Idris Elba(Thor, The Wire). Today sees the release of the first full trailer, and it doesn't look all that bad. Kinda reminds me of the underrated teen slasher, Cry Wolf, from a few years ago. Unfortunately the chances of this film finding a way onto our shores are slim, but with Elba backing it...

Despite a slightly patchy record, Joel Silver’s Dark Castle company continues to pump out the thrillers/genre movies. With Unknown doing decent business as their last cinematic outing, the company is now adding to its list of projects in development, nabbing spec script Non-Stop and attaching Jeff Wadlow to direct it. Written by Chris Roach and John Richardson, Non-Stop is being kept largely under wraps, though the Heat Vision blog has ferreted out that it’s a claustrophobic action thriller with a gritty edge that focuses on an air marshal running into trouble when he works an internal Us flight. It all sounds like a mash-up of Jodie Foster thriller Flightplan and those action movies from the ‘80s and ‘90s, including Air Force One. And does anyone else get the idea that the title might lead to a time-crunch element reminiscent of Speed?Wadlow, who is still best known...

Dark Castle has purchased a spec script entitled Non-Stop and has set Jeff Wadlow to direct, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter . To be produced by Alex Heineman, Andrew Rona and Joel Silver, the thriller arrives from newcomer writers John Richardson and Chris Roach. Details are currently few, but the storyline is said to revolve around an air marshall and an ordeal that occurs while the plane is in-flight. Wadlow is the writer/director of the 2005 film Cry Wolf and, more recently, directed the fight-based action film Never Back Down .

Hard to believe this is the fourth film in the hillbilly cannibal franchise, Wrong Turn. The first one back in 2003 was actually pretty solid, featuring three of my all-time favorite screen chicks: a super tough Eliza Dushku, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and the crimson haired beauty, Lindy Booth(Cry Wolf). The next two films in the series? Um, not so good. In fact they're unwatchable. Whether or not...

A Db is found in the woods. Tony (Michael Weatherly) rifles through McGee's (Sean Murray) things and his self-help CDs. Ziva (Cote de Pablo) calls that wrong and he thinks perhaps McGee's already satisfied. Tony listens to the man on the self-help CD and he loves his voice, Tony: "...like a poor man's Shatner." Tony knows exactly who he is and doesn't need any help. Tony: "I may not be pretty, but I am Di Nozzo, hear me roar!" Well, you're pretty to many, Tony/Michael. Ziva comments, hear him roar, "like an elephant." Gibbs (Mark Harmon) tells Tony to get out of McGee's desk. Tony calls him 'Little Timmy' who's out buying coffee. McGee meets a woman, or rather, she meets him, that meeting appeared contrived. How long's he been going there and no, not a remote chance of meeting a woman, any woman, let alone one who works there sometimes.

Exclusive: On the heels of his first pilot order last season, CBS' The Odds, Jeff Wadlow has landed two projects this season, Hail Mary at CBS and Rush at the CW. Both are from Warner Bros. TV and Silver Pictures, which also produced The Odds. Hail Mary is about a female P.I. in the South who partners with her murdered son's best friend. Rush is about undercover cops working the New York nightclub scene. Wadlow is writing and executive producing both projects with an eye to direct the potential pilots. Beau Bauman is also producing. The Odds, a buddy cop show set in Las Vegas, was considered a solid pilot whose second cut tested well. It became known as "the other Vegas buddy show" as CBS also had the Vegas-set light legal drama pilot The Defenders, which ultimately got picked up to series. Wme-repped Wadlow's feature credits include Cry Wolf and Never Back Down.

This is one of those stories that may end up being a non-story or it could soon turn into a real story. The producers of the new MTV "Teen Wolf" series are trying to woo original Teen Wolf movie star Michael J. Fox to the show for a recurring role. Wishful thinking or clever stunt casting?
Now keep in mind that this new "Teen Wolf" is designed to be darker and sexier than the corny 1985 comedy Fox starred in. Fox is too old to be playing the lead and his Parkinson's disease would certainly limit whatever role he returned in, but Moviehole reports that the producers are very keen on getting Michael J. Fox involved in some capacity. Exactly what capacity remains to be seen. If he'll even do it also remains to be seen.
In news that might be depressing if you're a fan of Teen Wolf Too, nobody...

The kiddies deserve some tamer terror for the Halloween season, and that's precisely what Nickelodeon is scaring up with its original movie The Boy Who Cried Werewolf. Not to be confused with the 1973 flick of the same name about a young boy who discovers his father is a hippie-hating werewolf. Though I am a little confused given this Boy Who Cried Werewolf is actually about a teenage girl who turns into a tween wolf.
Victoria Justice of the popular Nickelodeon program "Victorious" stars in The Boy Who Cried Werewolf alongside Brooke Shields, once a teen superstar herself, now playing the creepy caretaker of a Romanian castle.
Jordan Sands (Justice) is an awkward, allergy-prone 17-year-old, forced to be the woman of the house after her mother's death. Her father, David (Matt Winston, Little Miss Sunshine), is struggling to make ends meet while her younger brother, Hunter (Chase Ellison, Tooth Fairy), drives...

Sergei Prokofiev's Russian fairy tale from 1936 Peter and the Wolf is next to get the modern treatment, and as any true fan of fairy tales can tell you, they are certainly not the kind of bedtime fodder you would want your kids diggin' on. Unless of course you're like us and want to bring your buggers up the right way by letting them cut their teeth on the macabre!
According to Bloody Disgusting the good folks behind The Invasion and Blood Creek, Madhouse Entertainment, are currently working up a new telling of the classic tale that will definitely be spending its time exploring the darker avenues of the story.
"In order to save the love of his life and confront his own past, Peter, with the help of two very unlikely allies, sets out to trap a cunning serial killer who has returned to the college town he once terrorized.

House of Fears is, for the most part, fairly typical slasher fare. It stars a pack of mid-to-late twentysomethings who are killed off one by one, save for a couple of brave brave fighters. It does, however and somewhat surprisingly, keep the gratuitous violence to a minimum, and there's nary a sex scene in sight. However, it doesn't have much else going for it — the writing's not that great, the cinematography's not that great, and the acting's certainly not that great. The overall plot has vague potential — some high school kids break into a theme-park style haunted house the night before its grand opening, only to find that their fears begin coming to life because of a tiny cursed statue!
The fears themselves are for the most part pretty general, ranging from claustrophobia, to a psychotic clown (as if there's any other kind), to being stabbed, to being buried alive.

Jon Bon Jovi will make an appearance as a guest star on NBC's hit show "30 Rock". TV Guide reported that the singer will join the cast ensemble of the comedy series on the January 11 episode, which will be shot sometime this week in New York. He will be one of Liz Lemon's former flames.
Since the "Valentine's Day" episode in particular will reunite Tina Fey's Lemon with several of her old lovers, Bon Jovi won't be the only guest star to be expected. Dean Winters will be seen as Lemon's ex Dennis Duffy, Jon Hamm will star as another ex Dr. Drew Baird and "Saturday Night Live" star Jason Sudeikis will portray her other former love interest Floyd.
Talking to TV Guide at the 2010 SAG Awards, Fey who won Best TV actress on the awards show teased a bit on what Lemon has to deal with when it comes to Floyd this time around.
