While the newly released “American Horror Story: Delicate” teaser focuses mostly on Emma Roberts, Cara Delevingne and Kim Kardashian, eagle-eyed viewers also get their first look at Matt Czuchry at the 12-second mark. Way back in April, Czuchry was the first cast member announced as appearing in this 12th installment of FX’s horror anthology series, per our sister site The Hollywood Reporter. The TV vet from “The Good Wife” and “Gilmore Girls” was cast on “AHS” following the cancelation of “The Resident,” as both shows are produced by Disney’s 20th Television.
Set to the children’s tune “Rock-a-Bye Baby,” the fresh teaser is chock-full of maternal imagery, including pregnant women, in vitro fertilization and eggs full of spiders. It appears as though Czuchry is kissing Roberts on the forehead as she lies on a doctor’s table, with her crimson lips matching the color of the blood. The...

After years of hiatus, Vietnamese Le Binh Giang returned with two films this year, “Rock-a-bye Baby”, which seems like a continuation of the excellent “KFC” he directed back in 2016, and “Jackpot Island”, a commercial flick that was promoted as the sequel to “Kumanthong”, a movie Le Binh Giang directed along Ham Tran and Phan Gia Nhat Linh. Unfortunately, this is also the worst work of his we have seen so far, essentially ripping off Hollywood cheap horror movies.

Following his low-budget splatter “KFC”, which, rather surprisingly for a film of its genre, managed to have a great festival run, Le Binh Giang returns with the even more onerous “Rock-a-bye Baby”, a movie that manages to combine Pov horror with slasher and even avant-garde elements.
Rock-a-bye Baby screened at Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival
The film begins with Tran Long, a vlogger/influencer who runs an internet broadcasting channel called “Memory of Murder”, infiltrating actual crime scenes to reveal three murder stories to his subscribers. Initially presented in mobile screen format, including the many comments Long receives, eventually the film moves beyond him, taking the point of view of the perpetrators and their victims, and showing the actual crimes, or at least the version the blogger had in his mind. Moving among the two approaches is what gives the film its avant-garde hypostases, but as time passes, the slasher...

Kim Kardashian is bringing out her motherly instincts in the new season of American Horror Story.
The new teaser for season 12 of American Horror Story: Delicate showed an almost unrecognizable blonde Kardashian rocking a baby back and forth as she stands in the middle of a circle of people swaying to a remix of “Rock-a-bye Baby.”
“Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family,” AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter. “Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture.”
Although Kardashian has acted in other projects, this will be a first for her in the horror genre. She is not the only newcomer to the AHS series, however – model Cara Delevigne is also featured in the teaser. AHS regular Emma Roberts is also shown. All three women sported...

When news broke that Kim Kardashian would be joining season 12 of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's anthology series "American Horror Story," her part in the new season was left vague. The initial casting announcement involved a teaser posted to Kardashian's Instagram that featured a creepy version of "Rock-a-Bye Baby" and the caption "Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are delicate." Since then, Cara Delevigne has also joined the project, and while the new teaser doesn't exactly tell us much more about this season's plot, it does give us a first look at the new cast in full spooky regalia.
The promo starts with a circle of twelve women with long, white hair and dresses to match doing some sort of dance or ritual. It's clear that the new season will follow some of the same plot threads that have piqued Murphy's interest before, as there's a distinctly witchy, cultish vibe to the 42-second teaser.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has gone all out horror mode in the new teaser for ‘American Horror Story’ Season 12, where she acts like a demented cyber-ghost or something.
The teaser then proceeds to show faceless figures moving as one in a circle amid ominous images of a cradle and carriage. Filled with some spooky dance and at the end cradling a baby like a bride of Dracula, Kardashian’s look is similar to what would happen if a bride of Dracula went all modern day steam-punk.
In the teaser, the reality TV star is seen donning a haunting black gown, complete with long white locks and a creepy stare as she holds a baby, with a creepy version of the famous ‘Rock-a-Bye Baby’ song playing in the background.

Kim Kardashian is ready to get her freak on in the upcoming season of American Horror Story.
FX and Hulu dropped the first teaser video Friday for what is officially titled American Horror Story: Delicate.
In the spooky footage, Kardashian can be seen wearing a long blonde wig and black dress, while cradling what is presumed to be a baby. A twisted remix of “Rock-a-bye Baby” also plays in the background, while identical figures dance in an ominous manner.
Viewers also get a look at Cara Delevingne as well as AHS alum Emma Roberts, who is returning to the franchise after a four-year hiatus. She has previously appeared in Coven, Freak Show, Cult, Apocalypse and 1984.
Season 12 is unlike previous iterations of the anthology series as it’s the first season to be based, at least in part, on a book. Specifically, Danielle Valentine’s Delicate Condition, which comes out in August.

A new teaser trailer for the twelfth season of American Horror Story has finally arrived, and with it, the leading lineup and its official title, American Horror Story: Delicate. The moody and dark footage scored to a cryptic version of the “Rock-a-Bye Baby” nursery rhyme showcases series veteran Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian as headliners of the season alongside Carnival Row‘s Cara Delevingne. Footage shows a group of women in platinum blonde wigs and latex dancing in unison, only to reveal the leading ladies of the season dressed the same way. With images of a bassinet crib, a baby bird’s nest, and an egg falling from a tree, we can assume motherhood will play a significant role. Not to mention the mother of four, Kardashian, is seen holding a baby towards the end, dressed in the same latest and platinum hair as the dancers. According to the synopsis,...

Kim Kardashian is a haunted blonde bombshell in the first look at Ryan Murphy’s “American Horror Story: Delicate.”
The upcoming Season 12 anthology series installment marks the first time a singular creative voice leads a season, with showrunner Halley Feiffer (“Impeachment: American Crime Story”) writing all episodes. “AHS: Delicate” is based in part on Danielle Valentine’s upcoming novel “Delicate Condition” about a woman who becomes convinced a sinister figure is forbidding her from getting pregnant.

It was only a matter of time before these words ended up in a sentence together: Kim Kardashian will be joining the 12th season of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's long-running anthology, "American Horror Story." A collaboration between the man who explores fame, camp, luxury, and what captures America's attention, and the woman who has captured America's attention better than anyone else feels so natural, that it's surprising it hasn't happened sooner.
Kardashian posted a teaser promo to her Instagram account today announcing the collaboration. In the promo, you can hear the sound of children playing along with a slow, eerie rendition of "Rock-a-bye Baby." An enigmatic, slowly revealed tagline reads: "Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian are delicate." Roberts is an "American Horror Story" veteran who played the witch Madison Montgomery in the seasons titled "Coven" and "Apocalypse," and appeared as other characters in the anthology along the way.

On August 20, 2017, Jerry Lewis took a pratfall off this mortal coil, presumably knocking an unwitting dowager on her keister and sending a surprised cop into an open manhole on his way out. The durable enfant terrible was all of 91 years when he finally left the building though he had been making spirited public appearances as recently as January of this year.
For the inquisitive Jerry fan, Shawn Levy’s 1997 King of Comedy: The Life and Art of Jerry Lewis, remains the first and last stop for the straight scoop on America’s premiere nudnik. Levy, who endured the full fury of the comedian’s legendary wrath to get his story, is as admiring of his subject’s accomplishments as he was repelled by his whiplash mood swings. The hard knock apprenticeship in the Catskills, the Freudian-fueled soap opera of his partnership with Dean Martin, the boastful sex-capades, they’re all there and then some.

By the late 1970s, Jerry Lewis was becoming perilously close to being a has-been. After decades of celebrity – first in his successful partnership with Dean Martin, then later on his own as the star of comedies like Rock-a-Bye Baby and as the auteur behind epochal hits such as The Nutty Professor – the gifted comic filmmaker and host of the annual Labor Day Muscular Dystrophy telethon started experiencing a series of stumbles. He shelved his much-ballyhooed drama The Day the Clown Cried, about a German clown living in the Nazi concentration camps,...

And you thought Ted Cruz was the creepy one. Just after the Texas senator named Carly Fiorina as his pick for Vice President, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO decided to scare the living daylights out of the crowd, and the millions watching at home, with one of the most disturbing nursery rhymes since “Rock-a-bye Baby.” Fiorina burst into a song she made up for Cruz’s young daughters while on the campaign trail. And just to make sure everyone had nightmares for the foreseeable future, she gave it a Hansel & Gretel kind of vibe. You can watch the video above. (Warning:...

Kerry Washington headed to Harvard University on Thursday to receive the 2016 Hasty Pudding Award from the Hasty Pudding Theatricals, the university's prominent theater troupe. Though the Scandal star didn't hesitate to goof around, she did get serious for a moment when voicing her support for the movement to diversify the Academy Awards. When asked if she would participate in an Oscars boycott over the lack of diversity among nominees, Washington replied, "I don't think so, no." She continued, "I'm really excited that the conversation is happening. It needs to happen, and the Oscars are a symptom of a larger issue.

File this under awesome! Ethan Hawke stopped by Tuesday's "The Tonight Show" where he and host Jimmy Fallon did their best Bob Dylan impressions ... while singing lullabies. While Fallon's known for his spot-on Dylan parodies, the "Boyhood" star doesn't sound half-bad either doing his own Dylan impression -- check out the cute clip above! Hawke's definitely had some practice in the lullaby department, too: The actor has four children of his own, Clementine, 6, Indiana, 3, Maya, 16, and Levon, 12. Fallon likewise has a baby girl, 20-month-old Winnie, who he said loves to stay up to watch the show. "If my daughter's awake right now, Winnie please got to sleep," the comedian told the camera before showing off his singing chops. Ethan's impression of Dylan singing "Rock-a-Bye Baby," was pretty on-point, while Fallon's "Twinkle Twinkle" was sure to catch the attention of his baby girl. Who do you think had the better Bob impression?...

They both have young children at home so when Ethan Hawke and Jimmy Fallon sat down to chat on “The Tonight Show” last night (March 31), there was one glaring topic that they had to discuss.
The “Reality Bites” actor listened as Fallon complained that he’s had trouble getting his 20-month-old daughter Winnie to go to sleep, and Ethan prescribed a dose of acoustic guitar, classic lullabies and a Bob Dylan impersonation.
Finally both dads pulled out their axes and took turns singing Dylan-flavored versions of “Twinkle Twinkle,” “Rock-a-Bye Baby” and “Hush Little Baby.” Check the clip!

The high-definition debut of Jerry Lewis’ (Rock-a-Bye Baby) classic comedy movie The Nutty Professor is this 50th Anniversary Collector’s Edition.
The beloved 1963 film stars Lewis as shy and bumbling chemistry professor Julius F. Kelp. Unlucky in love, Kelp makes a potion to help him attract his crush, student Stella Purdy (Stella Stevens, The Poseidon Adventure). The potion turns Kelp into smooth nightclub singer Buddy Love, and works beautifully to draw in Stella, but the unstable formula makes Love slip back into Kelp at the most embarassing moments.
The four-disc Nutty Professor 50th Anniversary Collector’s Edition contains the movie on Blu-ray as well as DVD, plus DVDs of two other Lewis films: Cinderfella and The Errand Boy.
Lewis helped compile the plentiful extras for the Collector’s Edition, which include two new items:

Channing Tatum appeared on Ellen Thursday, where he admitted that he’s packed on some pounds since the birth of his firstborn daughter.
Channing Tatum Says He's 'Fappy'
When Tatum danced his way out in front of the audience, Ellen DeGeneres had a difficult time quieting down the cheers for the Magic Mike star. When DeGeneres joked about Tatum giving his fans a bit of a strip show, the actor respectfully declined.
"You definitely don't want that right now," Tatum laughed. "Right now, what me and my wife like to call it — I am very fappy – I am very fat and happy right now."
“I've been working for two straight years,” he explained. “Now it's some really needed downtime."

This September, "The Simpsons" will officially hit Season 25, making it an even quarter-century for the longest-running primetime animated show in television history. (It still has a few years to catch the 635 episodes of "Gunsmoke.")
Emmy-winning animator David Silverman has been with the show since the beginning, even before the beloved TV family had their own timeslot, when they were just a weekly segment on "The Tracey Ullman Show." In the years since, he's acted as a consulting producer, title designer, storyboard artist, "Spider Pig" lyricist, and directed episodes from Season 1 to the upcoming Season 25, along with the show's feature-length movie and Oscar-nominated short film. So, basically, we wouldn't want to be up against him on "Simpsons" Trivia Night.

The March 7 episode of 'One Tree Hill' gave a whole new meaning to the song 'Rock-a-bye Baby. It's officially creepy now. Xavier Daniels (Devin McGee) was still lurking around town on this week's One Tree Hill, and even persuaded Tara (Chelsea Kane) to give him a job at Tree Hill Cafe -- right across the street from Karen's Cafe. My guess is that it didn't take much convincing, because I have no doubt Tara only gave him the job get under Brooke's skin. Julian (Austin Nichols) and Brooke (Sophia Bush) decided to stalk Xavier to catch him in a criminal act, and when they saw him "break into a house," they called the police. Well, he actually lived at the house and had to use the window because he forgot a key. Brooke and Julian merely added fuel to Xavier's fire. Willing to do pretty much anything...

Christiane Schmidtmer has a layover with Jerry Lewis (l.) and Tony Curtis in Boeing Boeing.
The 1965 bedroom farce film Boeing Boeing, starring Jerry Lewis (The Nutty Professor) and Tony Curtis (Insignificance), is actually based on the 1960 French play of the same name by Marc Camoletti. (The play was revived in London’s West End and on Broadway a few years back to much success.)
The comedy movie follows the lives of two American journalists in Paris, Bernard Lawrence (Curtis) and his friend Robert Reed (Lewis). Bernard, the ultimate bachelor, is juggling romances with three stewardesses who just happen to have different schedules and nationalities. Throughout her 50-year career, renaissance blonde Connie Stevens has been a popular star of movies and TV as well as a recording artist and founder of a hugely successful cosmetics empire. Now with the new film Saving Grace B. Jones, Ms Stevens can add movie director and screenwriter to her list of accomplishments. But I’ll always remember Ms Stevens fondly for a movie she starred in in the mid 70’s. It may not be her proudest moment but the 1976 movie Scorchy is an entertaining action-adventure in which Connie starred as a sexy undercover drug agent who will stop at nothing to break up a violent narcotics-smuggling ring. Scorchy was a fun, if not particularly good, movie aimed squarely at drive-in audiences who like their action spiced with a touch of sexploitation but Scorchy is Not currently available on DVD.
