The whereabouts of a missing elderly resident of Albert Square is revealed. Arthur and Pauline have a secret that they won't be able to keep for long. There is trouble in the Queen Victoria pub.
DS Rich continues with his investigation. Dr Legg is on the warpath. Den is stressed about entertaining Mr Chumley. Sharon and Angie both overdo the flirting.
Lou is still giving Pauline and Arthur a hard time. Lofty is out of pocket. Mary's suspicions about her flat are confirmed, but it is worse than she thought.
Mary is very troubled. Dr Legg is on the warpath again and is looking for Lofty. A phone call makes Sharon suspicious. Kelvin is at his wits end and Pete and Den are up to old tricks.
Angie and Kathy let their feelings known. Pauline gets some test results and Mary is looking for work. DS Rich has more things to investigate. Ethel does Mary a good turn.
Naima gets a terrible shock. Things are tense between Angie and Den. Sharon invites Kelvin on a date. Lofty is still being hassled by Nick, who tells him something truly shocking. Ali's day does not end well.

Everyone is concerned about Mark. Mark and Ethel find out just how bad Nick can be. Dr Legg talks to DS Rich about Nick and some local problems, but finds that DS Rich has bigger concerns.
Naima starts using the launderette with Saeed's blessing and Saeed decides to experience some real 'cockney' living. Lofty's money worries look set to worsen. Ethel babysits for Mary with frightening results.
Mary is in a panic and everyone joins the search. Den cements plans for his holiday and competition between Michelle and Sharon for Kelvin's affections heats up. Pete is unhappy with Ian's career plans.
Mary appears unwell. Angie and Den talk about the Vic's bottom line, but can't agree on how to boost business. Angie eventually sends Den off to check out a strip act. Pauline leads Naima astray, Debbie upsets Mary and Ian finally snaps.
Nick is on the news. Lou has come around and Den is determined to get away to Spain. Naima and Saeed are getting along better. Dr Legg tries to help Mary get better accommodation, and finds out something that bothers him. Lou comforts Ian.
Ali gets a happy surprise. Dr Legg counsels Lofty to be a better neighbour. Lou's talk with Pete and Kath doesn't go the way she expected. Sue is getting fed up with all the calls for Ali at the Cafe.

The kids head back to school, except Mark. Lofty's latest purchase causes a few giggles and Ethel debuts as cook for the Vic. Angie takes flirting with one particular customer to a new level. Saeed impresses Naima.
Den gets caught out and Angie goes out. Mary is getting desperate for money and Den tells Angie he has to spend another week in Spain. The identity of the prank caller to the cafe is revealed.
Ali is told who's been calling the cafe - but he daren't tell Sue who it is. Lou and Michelle return. Mary gets some work and it's Angie's turn to get caught out. Ethel's pies cause a stir and the Fowler's call the police.
Angie decides to sack Ethel. Deb worries about what to serve Sayeed and Naima. Den is due back but Tony doesn't want things to change. Sharon decides to confront Angie about her recent behavior.
Lou is unwell. Den arrives back at the Vic, but doesn't get the welcome he expected. Michelle gets a taste of her own medicine. Someone comes looking for Mary. New information gets the 'Save Our Square' committee mobilised again.
Kath celebrates a birthday. Lou starts doing her own research into what is wrong with her - much to the amusement of others. Sharon is upset about Den and Angie's goings ons. Ian's film night surprises everyone.
Den smells a rat. Everyone finally takes Lou serious about being ill. Mary blames Lofty for being found. Den and Angie come clean with each other and Den reveals more than Angie wants to hear.
Lou has shingles. Mary apologises to a relieved Lofty. Angie and Den come to an agreement, for Sharon's sake - but will they honour it? Dinner at Debbie and Andy's opens new doors for Naima.
Naima has her first driving lesson. Den and Angie promise Sharon things are going to change. Lofty's well meaning gesture is not welcomed by Mary. Den and Angie seem to have put the spark back into their marriage.
Lou wakes up screaming. Den is disappointed with himself. Dr Legg shares some deep concerns about Pauline with Arthur. Michelle gets a new look. Tony warns Michelle off Kelvin, meanwhile Sharon moves in for the kill.
Michelle and Kelvin plan a night out. Saeed and Naima's pledge to discuss everything together hits a snag. Dr Legg throws cold water on Sharon's latest plans and Arthur tries to talk to Michelle about Kelvin.
Sharon is in Michelle's bad books. Nothing is going right for Andy. Ali goes to see Den about a car. Lou's demands are getting everyone down and Pauline is still not getting the support she needs, leading to possibly tragic circumstances.
Arthur is forced to manage without Pauline and few are sympathetic. Sue and Ali can't seem to catch a break and Andy can't get a wink of sleep. Tony is left out in the cold.
