A new actress has joined the Chicago P.D. cast and is featured in upcoming episodes.
It’s also worth noting that she shares the screen with Tracy Spiridakos, who is leaving the show this season.
Tracy has played Detective Hailey Upton for many years, but it was revealed that the character will soon leave Chicago.
The new season of Chicago P.D. has not yet addressed the upcoming Upton exit, but narrative seeds will likely be revealed soon.
In the meantime, Season 11 rolls on, with the finale coming up this May. The season will seem short because it is only 13 episodes long.
Several Chicago P.D. cast members also posted on social media about already missing Tracy as she films her final episodes.

Comedian Mark Critch shared his insights on his autobiographical TV series Son of a Critch, adapted from his memoir, in his new uInterview.
Son of a Critch follows Critch in his younger years, played by 15-year-old Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, as he comes of age in St. John’s, N.L., in the 1980s.
“The book is all about my life growing up in Newfoundland, Canada, which is on the East Coast of Canada,” Critch told uInterview founder Erik Meers. “We owned our dominion before we joined Canada in 1949 as a fishing place. The fishery was king.”
He continued, “The book was with Penguin Random House and did quite well then my friend. Tim Mcaullife, who was a writer for The Office, said, ‘We should make this into a TV show,’ so we pitched that and we did and here we are three seasons later. “

Rockstar primarily comprised Parton’s renditions of rock classics like “Magic Man,” “Purple Rain,” “Stairway to Heaven,” and many more, plus a who’s-who of guest features. The deluxe edition of Rockstar continues the fun with originals “Mama Never Said” and a live version of “Rockin’ It,” plus the Sylvester Stallone-featuring “Stay Out of My Bedroom,” lifted...

Stephen Sondheim, the dominant voice in American musical theater in the second half of the 20th century and the composer with the most Tony Awards, has died. He was 91. The Broadway icon died Friday, November 26th at his home in Roxbury, Conn. He was 91.
His shows, from the comedic “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” to the ground-breaking “Company” to the operatic “Sweeney Todd” to the experimental “Pacific Overtures,” transformed the Broadway musical stage, influencing and advancing the medium. Sondheim, a protege of Oscar Hammerstein II, slowly moved away from that melodic tradition to incorporate complex and dissonant themes and structures of 20th century classical music into his works.
Sondheim won seven Tony Awards plus a 2008 Special Tony Award for lifetime achievement in the theater.

Mick Jagger is unreal, and for that matter, so are all of The Rolling Stones. They performed for the first time since Mick's heart surgery and looked incredible ... but there's something even more shocking. The Stones entertained 60,000 fans Friday night in Chicago at a sold-out Soldier Field concert, and if you closed your eyes it would be hard to hear the difference between circa 1965 and today. Mick pranced up and down the stage was in...

14 years ago today, the TV series “24” premiered on Fox, with the buzzy format of each 24-episode season covering 24 hours in the life of Counter Terrorist Unit agent Jack Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland. The show premiered less than two months after the September 11 attacks, making Bauer’s efforts to protect America from terrorism plots that much more resonant with viewers. “24” lasted for eight seasons, earning several Emmy Awards along the way, including one for Outstanding Drama Series in 2006. Last year, it was revived for a 12-episode limited series. Other notable November 6 happenings in pop culture history: • 1965: The Rolling Stones’ “Get Off Of My Cloud” took the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was their second No. 1 hit — “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” had topped the chart earlier that year. • 1967: Bob Dylan recorded “All Along the Watchtower” in Nashville, Tenn. • 1981: “Time Bandits” opened in U.

Brett Morgen has been called the Mad Scientist of the documentary world with his latest film, the long-awaited Kurt Cobain biography “Montage of Heck.” Morgen certainly lives up to that billing, creating an explosive and totally unique visual and cinematic experiences out of the fallen rock god’s various creations. I have known Brett since we were both 14 years old, having gone to high school and then college together, where we were in roommates. Since the first days of our acquaintance, I have never known anyone with such a firm sense of who he was and what he wanted to do, and that has only strengthened over the years. However, what astonished me seeing “Montage” for the first time was how much his creative skills have grown as a director, so that wild, unstoppable sense of Brettism is now married to awe-inspiring technical superpowers, that have enabled him to produce what in my very-biased mind,...

It used to be that summer was a desolate wasteland, at least when it came to original television. The networks, like teachers, pretty much took the season off and cable was still in its infancy, struggling to find a way to quench that particular thirst. But these days, summer is just as viable for original programming as the fall and midseason, and this year is no different.
We've decided to run down the biggest premieres from the hottest networks (in alphabetical order), making sure to note the starriest, sexiest, most interesting new and returning programs for you to watch at the end of a long, hot summer day. It's enough to make you wonder how anyone ever survived the summer without shows of this caliber popping up. Dog days, indeed.

Jon Favreau, wrote, directed, and starred in what might sound like a simplistic plot, yet is very funny and feel good. Carl Casper (Jon Favreau), is the chef in a top restaurant in Los Angeles. When a famous food critic, Ramsey Michel (Oliver Platt), who recently sold his blog to AOL for $10 million, makes it known that he is coming into the restaurant that night, Carl wants to get creative with the menu. The owner of the restaurant, Riva (Dustin Hoffman), does not like the idea of him changing the dishes, and tells him to stick to the menu and “play the hits”. “If you went to a ‘Rolling Stones’ concert and Mick Jagger didn’t play ‘Satisfaction’ wouldn’t you get upset? Play your hits. Stick to the menu.”
Well, the food critic doesn’t like the food served on the menu and takes to twitter to blacklist the chef stating that “Carl is gaining weight and must be eating all the food that is being sent back to the kitchen.”
Carl and Ramsey start a bad mouthing war on twitter, and it goes viral.
Ramsey decides to give the top chef another chance at a better tasting meal, however, a downward turn of events sends Carl’s life into a different, yet happier direction.
Cute film that will make you hungry.

Time for the Top 10 performances on "The X Factor." The theme this week is British Invasion, so "Live and Let Die" ushers in the judges. Mario Lopez also informs us that it's another double elimination week, so going home will be "devastating." He does know that only one of them wins, right?

The last time iconic rock band the Rolling Stones took the stage at Hyde Park in London was July 5, 1969. It took a full 44 years and one day before they returned Saturday (July 6) for a bit of a homecoming.
Before the show began, footage from that original concert played for the audience to welcome the Stones. From there, they played through a long list of hits, including "Start Me Up," "Gimme Shelter," "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction."
The show was, of course, well-received was fans in attendance, but even the band had a great time. According to a writer at Billboard, he'd never "seen them all smile so much on stage, nor maintain quite such momentum throughout two hours of classic hits." Front man Mick Jagger echoed that idea with a tweet, reading, "What a great audience at last night's show, & such a beautiful sunset."

London — The Rolling Stones returned to London's Hyde Park after 44 years with a concert that saluted both the band's past and the fleetingly idyllic English summer. Mick Jagger even donned a frock for the occasion.
The band played an outdoor gig for 65,000 people Saturday in the same venue as a landmark 1969 show performed two days after the death of founding member Brian Jones.
It's most often remembered for the vast crowd of more than 200,000, for Jagger quoting Percy Bysshe Shelley as eulogy to Jones – and for the white dress Jagger wore onstage.
Jagger took the stage in a similar white smock Saturday for a rendition of "Honky Tonk Women," a song the band also played in 1969.
"Just something I found in the back," he said.
Much else has changed since 1969. Then, the concert was free. On Saturday, some fans had paid 200 pounds ($300) a ticket. Jagger turns 70 this month, drummer Charlie Watts...

London — Mumford & Sons are bringing the Glastonbury Festival to a close Sunday, with many music fans still on a high from the Rolling Stones' first-ever gig at Britain's leading music extravaganza.
The Mumfords' performance will be the Grammy-winning folk-rockers' first since bassist Ted Dwane had surgery for a blood clot on his brain earlier this month.
The banjo-wielding balladeers are sure to get a raucous reception. But Saturday belonged to the Rolling Stones, with festival founder Michael Eavis declaring the band's show "the high spot of 43 years of Glastonbury."
"It's the whole razzmatazz of the occasion – the two of us finally getting together at long last," said Eavis.
The Stones, joined by ex-member Mick Taylor on guitar, played for more than two hours on the festival's main Pyramid Stage, giving fans a clutch of hits, from opener "Jumpin' Jack Flash" through to encores of "You Can't Always Get What You...

The Rolling Stones provided the best-ever headline set in Glastonbury's history, organisers said today.
Michael Eavis, who holds the musical extravaganza on his farm in rural Somerset, said the two-hour performance - complete with fireworks and a burning phoenix on top of the stage - was worth the wait.

He had tried to secure the band, celebrating their 50th anniversary, for years and said he was not sure how next year's headliners, who have already been booked, would live up to the Stones.
"It was 43 years in the making, 50 years for them, and we've finally come together. We're on the same page at last," Eavis said, on the third day of music at the festival.
He claimed it was his highlight of his time running the festival, which was first held in 1970.

Keith Richards said earlier this week, "It had to be done," and now it has.
Lead singer Mick Jagger told the audience, "After all these years they finally got round to asking us."

The fate of The Rolling Stones' global fame may have been within Keith Richards' grasp on May 7, 1965, when the singer-songwriter and guitarist woke up early that morning, grabbed a cassette recorder and strummed out the opening hook for "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction." Forty-eight years later, the song has remained a perennial classic often hailed as one of rock 'n' roll's greatest entries.
At the time of Richards' musical inspiration, The Rolling Stones had only made a mild splash in America, with "Time Is On My Side" and the newly released "The Last Time" serving as the band's only hit singles to date. "Satisfaction" became the Stones' doormat to superstardom, and its opening riff has become one of the most recognizable in rock history.
The band has since recounted the fact that, despite having written it, Richards himself was not a fan of the "Satisfaction" tune that poured out of him that morning.

Los Angeles, May 4 (Reuters) - The Rolling Stones rocked a packed house in Los Angeles on Friday on the opening night of their North American "50 and Counting" tour, but only after websites slashed ticket prices and the band released additional cheap seats at the last minute.
The 17-date tour is the veteran British rockers' biggest in six years and follows a handful of dates in London, Paris and New York at the end of 2012 marking 50 years since they burst on to the music scene at London's Marquee Club in 1962.
"We first played La in 1965. Thank you for coming to see us. We really appreciate it," frontman Mick Jagger said late on Friday during the show at Staples Center.

Tonight American Idol sets out to prove that Rock and Roll is here to stay! No slow ballads. Just up-tempo numbers to get us up and off our couches. Maybe.
Will the contestants rise to the challenge of faster tempos and harder beats? Let's find out now...
Burnell Taylor chose to start the night with the Bon Jovi anthem "You Give Love A Bad Name." He's a little uncomfortable making his way from the lower stage to the upper, but it's fantastic to see him take the mic off the stand and move a little more than just his hands. He played it close to the original and did a solid job even if he didn't do anything incredibly novel with the interpretation. He definitely stepped out of his comfort zone and seemed to have a good time. Keith said he looked uncomfortable in the song and gave him the...

It's Classic Rock Night here at "American Idol" -- if Kree Harrison doesn't do some Heart, we're going to be upset. Oh, and Orianthi is there to play guitar with the Idols. That's cool, she's terrific.
1. Burnell Taylor, "You Give Love a Bad Name," Bon Jovi
Huh. Not what we were expecting from Burnell. And this is ... not working for us. It's almost as though Burnell has too much soul for this. Too much soul, not enough rock, you know? Burnell would be stronger on maybe some Lenny Kravitz? That sound would suit his voice much, much better.
Either way, this left us really cold. Yikes. And case in point, Keith Urban's first comment is, "I'm going to assume rock 'n roll's not your thing ... I've never seen you look more uncomfortable." Yeah, that about sums it up. Nicki babbles some stuff about Teddy Ruxpin -- this is not...

I can’t get no satisfaction — not when it comes to American Idol‘s Season 12 theme nights, anyway.
I know, I know: A couple weeks back I put together a gallery of potential alternatives to the usual “Songs That Inspire” and “Songs From the Year You Were Born” — and I’d actually included “’80s Rock” and “No Ballads Allowed” among my 22 suggestions. So you think that Fox’s official announcement of “Classic Rock, No Ballads” for Top 7 night would’ve been cause for nothing but a joyful Headbangers Ball up in Casa Slezak.

Cleveland — The story of The Rolling Stones is so huge it takes 2 1/2 floors of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum to tell.

The exhibit will be open until March 2014 and will include personal and collected items that have never before been seen by the public along with film, text and interactive components and periodic lectures on the band's 50-year career. London - The Rolling Stones are facing a fine that some estimate could reach $320,000 (200,000 pounds) after the rock band played past a strict London noise curfew Sunday night. The legendary band on Sunday performed at the O2 Arena here to kick off its "50 and Counting" tour that celebrates its 50th anniversary. The 2 1/2 hour gig ended with "Jumpin’ Jack Flash," with the Telegraph on Monday reporting that they had planned to end with "Satisfaction," but cut the classic due to the curfew. On Tuesday, the Telegraph said the Stones were now facing a fine

The Rolling Stones have officially launched their 50th anniversary tour. Following a warm-up show in Paris, the band celebrated its big year by heading to London's 02 Arena on Sunday (Nov. 25) and performing in front of a sold-out crowd.
According to Rolling Stone's review, the band delivered one great show. Members like Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were joined on stage by former colleagues Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor, while Mary J. Blige and Jeff Beck also jumped in on performances.
After a second performance in London on Nov. 29, the Stones will continue their reunion tour in New York City on Dec. 8 and Newark, N.J. on Dec. 13 and 15. Maybe then they'll finally play "Satisfaction," the one classic Rolling Stones hit that was noticeably missing from their line-up on the first stop of the tour. London -- London's infamous live-music curfew struck again Sunday night when The Rolling Stones performed their first major concert in more than five years at the O2 Arena here, forcing the band to drop "Satisfaction" from the encore list it had prepared for the 50th anniversary gig, according to a report. The Telegraph reported that the band was scheduled to complete its 2 1/2-hour gig at the venue with the 1965 crowd-pleaser but dropped it due to local rules that require performances to finish before 11 p.m. Representatives for the O2 Arena and owner Aeg Live couldn't

Time wasn't on the Rolling Stones' side Sunday night. After a five-year hiatus, the legendary band returned to the stage in London at the O2 Arena for the first show of their anniversary tour to celebrate 50 successful years in the music business. However, the group wound up having to cut their concert short because of strict local curfews banning live music from being played past 11 p.m., according to the Telegraph. As a result, the Stones didn't get to close out the show with one of their most famous tunes, "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction." But not all was lost. Lead singer Mick Jagger got the crowd of 20,000 people going when he sang "I Wanna Be Your Man"...

Select box set reviews from The Associated Press:
Johnny Cash, "The Complete Columbia Album Collection" (Columbia/Legacy)
If you're under 40, you likely see Johnny Cash two ways – as the nearly mythological Sun Records proto-rocker and as the wizened old man staring down God in his American Recordings period in the years before his 2003 death.
Between those two important periods lay decades of songs, personalities and re-inventions many folks aren't familiar with. The massive new box set, "The Complete Columbia Album Collection," will help fill in those gaps for anyone interested in Cash beyond the name-checking cachet he brings to your iPod.
A staggering amount of music is gathered here in 63 discs representing a quarter century of output from an American popular culture icon whose career was far more Technicolor than his Man in Black nickname suggests. And the average music fan yet to turn grey has no idea what that...

The voice at the other end of the line is unmistakable: garrulous, formed by decades of cigarettes, whiskey, drugs and singing.
Half an hour later another unmistakable voice is on the line. This one is silkier, a bit of a posh accent, and the debauched living isn't audible.
In separate conversations with Zap2it, Keith Richards, then Mick Jagger talk about their half-century -- yes, 50 years -- with the Rolling Stones, as featured in HBO's "Crossfire Hurricane" Thursday, Nov. 15.
It would be impossible to capture what the quintessential rock band means in a single documentary, and this tries in just under two hours. The result is uneven. It has some excellent concert footage and reminders of how the world has evolved over the years.
Initially, the Rolling Stones were threatening; the Beatles were the darlings, and the Stones were the bad boys. The footage of hostile newscasters alone makes this fun,...

Ever wonder what it'd be like to date a rock star? Well, now we know! Or at least, what dating Mick Jagger would be like—and apparently the "Satisfaction" rocker is quite the softy! Sotheby's is set to auction off love letters written by the legendary rocker on December 12. According to the La Times, the notes were penned in July and August of 1969 and sent to American singer, Marsha Hunt (Mick's first baby mama). Hunt says "The letters speak for Mick at an incredible juncture of our lives...The summer of '69 was the end of a whole era of revolutionary spirit—we didn't know it was about to die. The Rolling Stones have released their second new track, "One More Shot," off their upcoming album, "Grrr!"
The upbeat song proves that The Stones, in the business since 1962, still have it.
"It's got all this f--ing power," producer Don Was said in an interview with Rolling Stone. "Everyone was smiling. You can recognize it's the Rolling Stones from a mile away."
Throughout the song, the rockers croon, "Give me one, give me one more shot / yeah and it’s all I got."
In October, the band premiered "Doom and Gloom" the first new song the Stones had recorded in seven years. The 50th anniversary album, "Grrr!" features the two new songs as well as Stones' classics such as "Start Me Up" and "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction." The album is due out Nov. 13.

It's easy to forget how shocking the Stones were in 1965. The previously unreleased documentary Charlie Is My Darling is a riveting reminder of when they were a generational lightning rod

On 3 September 1965, the Rolling Stones flew out for a brief Irish tour. Accompanying them and their manager, Andrew Loog Oldham, was film-maker Peter Whitehead, who had just shot the infamous International Poetry Incarnation at the Royal Albert Hall – a founding countercultural event later known, after his film title, as Wholly Communion.
Whitehead shot by himself in the Maysles style, with a handheld camera placing the operator and the viewer right in the centre of the action. He was hired by Oldham to see how the Stones materialised on film: it was the mid-60s and all major groups were supposed to star in feature flicks, however cheesy, but the Stones still hadn't. It seems not much has changed over the past 50 years with regard to fame and privacy, as members of The Rolling Stones can attest. In a 1965 interview clip -- seen exclusively at Zap2it -- Brian Jones describes the cost of the band's sudden skyrocket to stardom.
"There's not much physical freedom," says Jones. "We have to choose very carefully where we go, where we socialize, where we go for holidays, because of our peculiar sort of success."
Charlie Watts adds, "I haven't got much time to do what I want." (Sound familiar, Miley Cyrus?)
The DVD release of "Charlie Is My Darling - Ireland 1965" is timed to coincide with the band's 50th anniversary. The road-trip documentary was shot on a mini-tour through Ireland, and features intimate conversations and candid comic moments with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Jones and Watts, as well as The Rolling Stones' first professionally filmed concert performances.
"There's not much physical freedom," says Jones. "We have to choose very carefully where we go, where we socialize, where we go for holidays, because of our peculiar sort of success."
Charlie Watts adds, "I haven't got much time to do what I want." (Sound familiar, Miley Cyrus?)

London — You can't always get what you want – but if your desire is to attend a Rolling Stones concert this might be your lucky day.
The legendary band said Monday it would return to the stage this year with four concerts in Britain and the United States. The shows will take place on Nov. 25 and 29 at London's O2 Arena, followed by gigs on Dec. 13 and 15 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, just outside of New York.
The shows mark the first time in five years that the Stones have performed live, with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood all coming together once more. The band said it was the "crowning glory" of celebrations marking its 50th anniversary of its first gig.
"Everybody loves a celebration, and London and New York are two good places to do it in!" Jagger said in a statement.

Stop everything. The Rolling Stones have released new music.
Debuted on BBC Radio 2 this morning, "Doom and Gloom" is the first new track off of the band's upcoming album, "Grrr!" A recording session in Paris under the direction of Don Was resulted in the first new Stones songs in seven years. The 50th anniversary collection also features Stones' staples such as "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" and "Start Me Up," along with "Doom and Gloom" and the still-in-the-works "One More Shot."
This morning's song release comes on the heels of newly announced additional tour dates. On Monday Keith Richards mentioned shows in New York and London to Q Magazine, and on Wednesday Bobby Keys told Billboard that there are concerts scheduled for November in the U.K. and U.S.
