Wanted: Los Angeles mansion fit for a king and queen. Throne room a must.
New parents of three, Jay-Z and Beyoncé have yet to find a home in Los Angeles that suits their needs and their $100 million budget, a real estate source confirms to People. “They want to find the perfect house to buy for their family, but they haven’t found it yet,” the source says.
With a massive budget, and in a city of mega-mansions, the real estate options are seemingly endless. But when you’re a family of global superstars, even a 9-figure price tag can be limiting.

How many members of the Irish Mob does it take to kill one former mob leader? And how many times can Kurt Weller's ex-girlfriend turned mother of his child be a pain in the behind? Those are the two primary issues at the heart of Blindspot Season 2 Episode 5.
"Condone Untidiest Thefts" feels like an effort to get Allison Knight back into the action. It's very convenient that she happens to be friends with the sister of the team's prime suspect Patrick O'Malley and that he'll only talk to her. Plus, when she tells Weller beforehand that it will be fine, that's TV's universal sign that things will not be fine.
Allison wasn't a likeable character before and she isn't now, constantly arguing with Weller on both the professional and personal fronts. Even if you set aside the plausibility of her being able to be involved in the case given her...

Nothing says "Yuletide" like a disillusioned Bill Murray shrug. Netflix has acquired A Very Murray Christmas, a holiday special – and "homage to the classic variety show" – which stars the iconic actor, as himself, worrying that his TV show will be ruined by a terrible New York City snowstorm. But Netflix promises a happy ending in their brief plot summary: "Through luck and perseverance, guests arrive at the Carlyle hotel to help him; dancing and singing in holiday spirit."

TNT‘s latest crime drama, King & Maxwell, has a somewhat familiar feel to it, but surpasses many of the network’s less interesting, but popular efforts. In the end, it looks as though that might not be a good thing.
Much like USA, it isn’t difficult to know that you’re watching something on TNT. Whether it’s The Closer, Leverage, Perception, or Falling Skies, the network has a certain feel to it. Of course, there are two camps to these shows, despite the similarity of style and substance, and the real question for any show is which side we’re leaning toward.
One camp begins and ends with The Closer. It’s a show I didn’t watch beyond the first season, largely because it flew out over left field and beyond so fast that I couldn’t even comprehend the interest, much less actually manage any. Good or bad,...

Over the years, there's been a lot of talk about whether a documentary can truly make a difference. We've seen plenty of examples of pivotal docs like Davis Guggenheim and Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth successfully raising awareness about global warning and the other side of the coin, something like Marina Zenovich's Romance Polanski: Wanted and Desired reopening an old case and getting its subject back into trouble. Much of that concept of documentary filmmaking being able to make a difference can be traced back to the "Paradise Lost" movies made by Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofksy during the '90s, which followed the case of three Arkansas youths: Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley Jr., who were tried and convicted of murdering three boys in a...

Wednesday night’s X Factor ended with the image of a 13-year-old boy collapsed in a heap in his mother’s lap, a flurry of producers and medics trying to figure out if he’d live or if he’d eventually die of embarrassment at the hands of Simon Cowell.
I’m not sure if the incident was a clever indictment of the lengths today’s youth will go to for a chance at fame, or just a happy (medical) accident that the show’s producers cynically used to fill out yet another two-hour audition episode. Maybe it was both.

The 2012 MTV Video Music Awards provided a glorious vicory for the House of Slytherin, as five young British wizards going by the collective name “One Direction” took home Best Pop Video and Best New Artist, without ever having to chant “Avada Kedavra” at arch rivals The Wanted.
Pink rocked the house flanked by a chorus line of giant dancing lips, Drake sweetly dedicated his Best Hip-Hop Video trophy to victims of bullying (or as he put it, “any kid that’s had a long walk home by yourself”), and Andy Samberg and Rashida Jones scored some chuckles with their obtuse attempts at “sensitive” rap.
