- In his quarters, Ray looks at his mementos. Nora wakes up and asks if he's okay, and Ray says that he was thinking about something Damien said to him. Ray figures that it's time for them to move out and move on. He figures that Nora can't do her job on a timeship, and he figures he'll do one last mission with the Legends and then say goodbye. Nora smiles and Ray smiles back, and they kiss.
Sara and Ava pound on the door on the bathroom door, and Zari yells that she can't be interrupted. Ray and Nora arrive, and Ray tells Ava and Sara that he has big news. Charlie arrives and interrupts Ray, saying that she and Constantine have made a deal to find the Loom of Fate. Behrad runs up and says that he has to use the bathroom, and yells at Zari through the door. Ava tells Behrad to get in line, and Mick arrives to interrupt Ray. He figures that Ray and Nora are moving out, and that he heard them the night before. Ray says that he and Nora are leaving after one final mission, and Nate shows up and asks what they're talking about. Ray says that the wit for the bathroom is at least 30 minutes, and Nate welcomes Nora to her new morning routine.
Zari comes out and says that her glam is complete, and Ava runs into the bathroom.
Later, Mick is getting breakfast when Mona comes in and greets him. She asks what's new, figuring Rebecca Silver could use fresh inspiration, and notes that Rebecca has a troll. Mick hastily advises Mona to forget "him", and she shouldn't reach out because it will just make her feel worse, then storms out.
Ray finds Sara and points out that Marie and Rasputin are gone. Sara figures that Astra has recalled them to Hell, and asks if Ray has talked to Nate yet. Ray admits that he couldn't ruin Nate's happiness, and Sara tells him to just get it over with. Ray joins the others on the bridge, where Charlie is explaining that they're going to piece it back together so they can change Astra's life. Sara segues that into Ray telling Nate that he's leaving, but Ray dodges the change in conversation. Charlie says that she gave one piece of the Loom to a friend for safekeeping, and Nate agrees that they should track down the piece. Ray ignores Sara's attempts to get him to tell Nate what he's doing, and Charlie says that the piece is in London 1594 where she left it.
Waverider arrive in London and Charlie and the male Legends go to a tavern. Charlie says that she disguised the pieces of ring, and spots "Will the Quill": William Shakespeare. They approach him and ask for the ring, but Shakespeare feigns ignorance. Matt says that "the Duke" wants the ring, warning that heads will roll. Shakespeare quickly changes his turn but says that he sold it. He has writer's block and his producer, Philip Henslowe, has threatened to cut off Shakespeare's hands. Shakespeare gave him the rings to buy some time, and if he can't end his story then his career is over.
On Waverider, Mona holds Book Club for Nora. Zari comes in and tries to excuse herself, and, and Sara says that they don't use book clubs to talk about books but to eat tiny crackers and talk about their problems.
Henslowe and his thugs arrive, and Mick offers to punch him in the face. He's distracted by a prostitute, and Ray insists that the mission has to be epic: i.e., extremely well and extraordinarily coordinated. Nate agrees and says that he and Ry will rappel down, high-five, and steal the ring. Ray breaks into tears and says that he loves the plan. Behrad will airblast the thugs and then Constantine will emerge from the shadows to make any troublemakers think they're animals. Charlie interrupts to show them the ring she already stole, and ray is shocked that the mission is over. Ray tells Nate that he and Nora are going to the Bahamas for a honeymoon, and Nate tells him that he's going to throw Ray a bachelor party.
At book club, the women talk about cults and how book club has helped them cope. Ava asks if Zari can help her, and Zari suggests that they throw Nora a bachelorette bash. Nate calls in to claim the Queen's dog took the ring so the mission isn't over. Once Nate hangs up, he tells the men that Sara bought it. Meanwhile, the book club members open bottles of champagne.
Astra tells the Coin Maker that Constantine is working for her now to bring her mother back. The Coin Maker notes that she's the one who found Astra and pulled her from the gutter. If Constantine brings Natalie back, then the Coin Maker will no longer be in her family. She suggests that Astra get the Loom herself, and shows her a ritual basin that will let her spy on Constantine. The Coin Maker feels the basin and Astra projects her senses to the real world.
The male Legends drink at the tavern and call on Ray to give a speech. He thanks Nate for the bachelor party, and Mick finally says that he has a kid and can't stop thinking about her. Nate wants to keep the "share-fest" going and asks whose next.
The women drive scooters down the hall and party with male strippers.
Ray offers a toast to the first piece of the Loom, an Astra listens in as Constantine insists that they'll be able to change Astra's life. He senses Astra's presence and bumps into a customer. A fight breaks out and Mick sets one man on fire before drinking. Nate turns into Steel, Behrad airblasts some other patrons, and Shakespeare watches and takes notes. Constantine doesn't recognize Astra but ends her sending. The feedback knocks Astra across the room, and the Coin Maker runs to her.
A drunken Ray drops his miniaturized Atom suit and it flies around the room on its own after growing to man-sized. It knocks people over and Ray finally manages to shut it down via voice control. Nate accidentally wipes the Legends' mind instead of Shakespeare's..
On the book, Nora notice that the copy of Romeo and Juliet that book club was reading has changed to Romeo v. Juliet: Dawn of Justness. Mick's face is on the cover and the others are in the background, and the women realize that something has gone wrong with the mission. The male stripper points out that Shakespeare writing superhero plays might be a problem.
When the male Legends and Charlie return to the ship, Sara complains that they lied to her. Nate reads Shakespeare's new book and discovers that Mercutio has his powers. Sara says that they need to fix his-tory", and they realize that she's drunk. The stripper comes in and says that their tachyon emitter has to be fixed, and Charlie and Nate escort him out.
Sara talks to Ray privately and asks why he hasn't told Nate that he's leaving, and Ray says that when he does it all becomes real to him. He wonders if he's ready for it, and Sara reminds him that when they first joined together, they embraced change and changed history. Ray says that he'll miss her, and Sara says that she'll miss him a lot as they hug.
The male Legends and Charlie go to the theater and Sara tells them via earbud that they have to convince Shakespeare to go back to writing romances and comedies, and get his draft. The actors are rehearsing their roles as the Legends in iambic perimeter. Ray goes to talk to Shakespeare while the others steal the script. Nate figures the show has potential, and tells the actors that they've been replaced.
Ray finds Shakespeare doing last-minute amendments to his script, and tells him that he can't put on the show. Shakespeare explains that he has a plan with Romeo and Juliet forming a team, and various characters from his stories will join forces to fight Richard the third. Ray suggests that he doesn't want Romeo and Juliet to end their stories, and Ray suggests that he should give them a great ending. Shakespeare admits that if he lets them go, he doesn't know what will happen next. Ray says that endings are necessary for growth, no matter how painful they are. He admits that he's speaking from experience. As Nate comes up, Ray tells Shakespeare that after they're done, he's leaving his team for a new mission. Nate leaves without being seen, and Shakespeare says that he'll give Romeo and Juliet an ending that no one can forget. Later on Waverider, Nate is drinking when Ray comes in and says that the book should change back any minute. Nate tells Ray that he knows he's leaving the Legends, and Ray apologizes but says that her didn't know how to say it. Angry, Nate says that he could have made a playlist or t-shirts, and Ray tells him that he didn't want to upset him. Nate tells him that their time together is just over. When Ray says that everything eventually has to change, Nate agrees but didn't figure he'd be the last to know. Gideon announces that Romeo and Juliet have disappeared from Shakespeare's works. Ray figures that he and Nate can go back and fix history together, but Nate says that the Legends have it and Ray should leave.
Back at the tavern, Nate and Zari approach Shakespeare. Shakespeare explains that Harlowe canceled his financing and thought Shakespeare stole his ring, and now Shakespeare has no actors and no theater. He figures that it's the end of Shakespeare, and walks off.
Ray is in his quarters packing and finds a photo of him and Nate. Nora comes in and Ray says that they've stuck around too long already.
At the tavern, Sara asks Nate and Zari drinking. Nate admits that they destroyed storytelling, and Sara asks him if he's just trying to prove everything is as miserable as he is. She wonders what they'll do without Ray and his stupid plans, then has an idea for a stupid plan and tells Gideon to get the rest of the Legends there.
Later at the tavern, the Legends don costumes and Sara says that Gideon will feed them their lines. Mick goes out on the stage. When Shakespeare realizes that they're using his words, Charlie finds him to sit down and enjoy the show because the audience is. The Legends continue with the original Romeo and Juliet, overacting a lot. The crowd cheers, and Shakespeare stares at "his" play, astonished.
The play continues, and Nate realizes that his words as Juliet echo his feelings toward Ray. He goes backstage, crying, and tells the Legends that he needs a second. Zari understands and sympathizes, telling him that it's not too hard to say goodbye to Ray. She takes over as Juliet, and Nate goes to find Ray. On stage, Zari acts her heart out to Constantine as Romeo.
On Waverider, Ray thanks Gideon for everything and asks it to take care of the Legends for him.
As Nate runs out, Harlowe and his men come in and attack him. Nate fights back, knocking out Harlowe's thugs.
Zari and Constantine get into their roles. A lot.
As Ray and Nora leave, they hold hands. Behind them, Nate arrives on the bridge but there's no sign of his friend. Ray comes in and says that he's there, and Nate admits that he's really sad but also really happy for Ray and Nora. His friend regrets Nate finding out the way he did, and they both admit that it sucks... but they love each other. Wityh that, the two of them hug.
Zari and Constantine kiss and the audience applauds.
Later on Waverider, Sara finds Nate sitting by himself. She offers him a bro hug if he ever needs it, she's there for him. They bro-hug, and Nate admits that Ray was terrible at bro-hugs at first.
Mick is reading King Lear when Ramona comes in. She advises Mick to talk to his daughter, and Mick says that he's protecting her. He explains that nurturing fathers don't run in his family, and Mona says that she's better for having Mick in his life and Lita will feel the same. Mona insists on hugging Mick.
Charlie and Constantine show Sara the ring, and she tells Constantine that he's too close to it. She asks what the plan is, and Charlie says that they can use the ring to find the other Loom pieces.
Astra wakes up and the Coin Maker takes her hand and asks what she saw. Astra explains about how Constantine said he was looking for the Loom. The Coin Maker says that it's one of the most powerful tools in existence, and she asks Astra if she wants to trust that power in Constantine's hands.
Nate and Sara can't sleep and go to the mess room, and find Mick drinking Ray's green juice. The others come in and drink the green juice. They sit with their thoughts, and then Nate offers a toast to Ray and everything he taught them.
