Lionsgate lets us know in a press release this afternoon, “This gruesome fright flick is only available at Walmart on SteelBook Blu-ray for the suggested retail price of $24.99.”
In Diary of the Dead, Romero continues his influential “Dead” series, this time focusing on a terrified group of college film students who record the pandemic rise of flesh-eating zombies.

Zack Snyder May Just Have Left These Clues That Connect His Rebel Moon Franchise to Army of the Dead
Zack Snyder is unarguably one of the biggest masterminds in the entertainment industry, having helmed masterpieces like the Snyder cut of the Justice League. Not only does he beat everyone’s expectations with his out-of-the-world storylines, but he also sometimes leaves behind clues in his universes, which end up connecting them irrespective of how different their storylines may be.

That being said, his Army of the Dead and Rebel Moon sagas were no exception to this fact. In fact, as it turns out through a new set of threads shared by a fan pointing out the similarities between the two universes, Snyder just may have left these clues behind for fans to figure out just how perfectly his AotD and Rm worlds collide and connect. And fans? Well, they’re as baffled as ever, indeed!

B&b has shocked fans by resurrecting a recently deceased character. This was something that seemed like it might happen. Yet, it was doubtful it would occur so quickly after the character’s demise. So, who is it and how are they making this happen? Keep reading for more details.
B&b Shocks With Dead Character Resurrection
Soap operas are notorious for bringing characters back from the dead. General Hospital did that last month with Steve Burton’s infamous Jason Morgan. Burton was let go in 2021 for not following the network’s vaccine mandate. However, after time went by and his time was up on Days of Our Lives, fans hoped he would return to Port Charles. Sure enough, he did but his character had been killed in a tunnel collapse. Luckily, Jason Morgan was given a whole back story to explain where he had been so it ended up making sense.

Word recently broke that a new "Evil Dead" movie was on the way, with filmmaker Francis Galluppi ("The Last Stop in Yuma County") at the helm. This news came accompanied by the following statement from "Evil Dead' mastermind Sam Raimi: "Francis Galluppi is a storyteller who knows when to keep us waiting in simmering tension and when to hit us with explosive violence. He is a director that shows uncommon control in his feature debut."
The curious thing about this info is that earlier this year, we learned another "Evil Dead" movie was in the works, this one directed by Sébastien Vaniček, the filmmaker behind the killer spider movie "Infested." That's right: There are now two different "Evil Dead" movies on the way. And that, in my humble opinion, is a good thing! While it’s case closed for theDead Boy Detectives’ supernatural adventures in Season 1, there’s still plenty of mysteries to unravel — and we have some questions.
Over the course of eight episodes, the ghost teens behind the Dead Boy Detectives agency — early 1900s young gentleman Edwin Payne (George Rexstrew) and 1980s “rude boy” Charles Rowland (Jayden Revri) — have assisted spirits stuck in the living world with their biggest challenges. They’ve seen it all: paranormal parasites, déjà vu in a haunted house, and even a butcher shop date gone awry.
With the help of their totally alive friend, the clairvoyant Crystal Palace (Kassius Nelson), and her bubbly bud Niko (Yuyu Kitamura), the boys also faced down evil witch Esther Finch (Jenn Lyon). But she’s not the only evil out there.

Some of DC’s best live-action small-screen adaptations were produced on the now-defunct streaming service DC Universe, where some of the renowned showrunners of network showbiz collaborated with the prolific creative minds of comic-book literature to create faithful adaptations of some of the most beloved DC comic series. As some of the fans might surely remember, Doom Patrol turned out to be arguably the best adaptation, and along with a myriad of zany, outlandish characters, the series first introduced the trio lead of Dead Boy Detectives outside the funny pages. The introduction was supposed to be a precursor to the spin-off series of the same name, and the actors portraying their roles in the Doom Patrol cameo were finalized to reprise their roles in the new series back then. This was exciting news for fans, as seeing how well Doom Patrol was adapted on a small screen, the possibility of...

Chris Cross, best known as the bassist in the English new wave band Ultravox, has died at 71 years old.
According to reports, Cross (born Chris Allen) died on March 25th, but the news was not made public until longtime bandmate Midge Ure shared a statement on Ultravox’s Instagram paying tribute to “the glue that held the band together.” No cause of death has been revealed.
“We worked together, we played together, made music and directed videos together. We were instant friends as well as Ultravox comrades,” Ure wrote. “Even after years apart we managed to pick up where we left off like the years in between never existed.”
He continued, “You were the glue that held the band together. You were the logic in the madness and the madness in our lives. It was great to know and grow with you. You are loved and missed old friend.”

Kevin Costner and Clint Eastwood are both esteemed filmmakers and actors who have only worked together once in their long careers. Known for their broad-based storytelling and acting prowess, both Hollywood luminaries have each made a significant impact on cinema and storytelling.
Kevin Costner in Dances with Wolves (1990)
Yet what people might remember them best by is their contribution to the Western genre. While Costner has been heralded for reviving the genre with his Oscar-winning movie Dances with Wolves, Eastwood gifted the world Unforgiven, one of his greatest films. Coincidentally, it is also the movie that Costner really wanted to make.
When Kevin Costner Wanted To Steal Clint Eastwood’s Best Movie
Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven
Described by the Library of Congress as culturally, historically or aesthetically significant, Clint Eastwood‘s Unforgiven is easily one of the best works the actor has done as a director or as its lead.

Behaviour Interactive are getting into the April Fools gimmick big time this year for Dead by Daylight. Literally. The developer has announced that those who log in from now until April 3 at 6:00am Pt / 9:00am Et, you’ll be treated to “a little change” in the Dead by Daylight Trials with “My Little Oni”.
The My Little Oni event has players facing off against a Kaiju-sized Oni. In fact, not only does The Oni tower above Survivors, the Survivors themselves are smaller. The only thing that the Survivors can do is reach and work on the Generators to try and escape.
Seriously, this mode makes it so Survivors have no access to Items, Chests, Basements or Pallets. And since they’re “too small and frail” for Hooks, death only comes in the form of a Mori.
Luckily, if you’re not keen on playing in this mode, you...

Following their scary good Archie Comics collaboration last year, Cullen Bunn and Dan Schoening are reteaming to continue growing The Cult of That Wilkin Boy with the new one-shot Initiation, and ahead its April 24th release from Archie Comics, we have an exclusive preview to share with Daily Dead readers!
Now working in the music industry as a cunning manager, Bingo convinces musicians to swap their souls for stardom in our exclusive preview below, and here's what artist Dan Schoening had to say about continuing Bingo's hellish story:
"It's such an honor to come back and tell more of Bingo's story with such an amazingly talented team of creatives. This follow-up feels like a natural progression of a rock star that sold his soul for fame and fortune, and all the sacrifice that comes along with it. This time however, the stakes are much higher, and the scale of terror is much bigger in scope.

The breakout star of Love Lies Bleeding, Katy O’Brian, is also seeing her fair share of franchise roles. Prior to her latest A24 movie, O’Brian has played parts in projects for Disney like The Mandalorian and Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. She will also be seen in the upcoming Twisters, where she says, “We filmed a tornado movie during tornado season in Tornado Alley.” She would reveal that her character is “a little sillier” than she has been used to, but she won’t go as far as to call it a comic relief role. “I don’t want to say comedic role, and then everyone’s like, ‘She wasn’t funny.’ We’ll say it’s silly and fun.”

Christina Applegate is opening up about learning hard lessons when she had breast cancer in 2008.
The Dead to Me actress stopped by Dax Shephard’s Armchair Expert podcast where she discussed not being vulnerable and honest about what she was feeling after her diagnosis and double mastectomy.
“I learned that lesson the hard way because, in 2008, when I had breast cancer at 36 years old, I went out, and I was the good girl talking about, ‘Oh, I love my new boobs that are all scarred and fucked up.’ What was I thinking?” she said.
She explained that her first interview after learning she had cancer was with Robin Roberts, and she lied the whole time about how she was feeling. Once it was over, she got up and “literally fell into the wall.”
“Everything I was saying was a freaking lie,” Applegate continued. “It was me trying to convince myself of something,...

When it comes to social media engagements and interactions of the fans with the profiles of Hollywood icon Tom Cruise and former WWE Superstar and pro wrestling icon John Cena, they cannot be considered anything other than polar opposites of one another.
While at one place, Cruise is known to be completely dedicated to his career and posts only about his films and other ventures, Cena takes a different route and posts random pictures which has a deeper meaning that not everyone could understand.
Tom Cruise in a still from Mission: Impossible- Dead Reckoning
But when it comes to words, both these stars are equal parts humorous on their Instagram, and when compared to each other, they both have some interesting bios to share. While Cena is more simple and direct with what he has to offer on his page, Cruise indulges in an inside joke about him running in almost all of his films.

As last year’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning (which has dropped the “Part One” subtitle since it hit home video) wrapped up, we saw that Tom Cruise’s Imf agent lead character Ethan Hunt would live to run another day – and pictures from the set of Mission: Impossible 8 (which won’t be called Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two after all) show him doing just that! Cruise running is a big part of these movies and his overall career, so it’s nice to see that Mission: Impossible 8 will indeed have him moving across the screen as fast as his legs can carry him. There’s even some video from the set as well, if you want to see this run in action.

‘Dylan’s New Nightmare’ – Fan Film Sequel to ‘New Nightmare’ Starring Miko Hughes Is Worth Your Time
I have mixed feelings on fan films. I’d prefer to see indie filmmakers invest their resources in an original concept rather than someone else’s intellectual property, but I also understand the reality that content with an established fanbase guarantees more engagement. Moreover, when beloved properties like A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th become entangled in ongoing legal disputes, fan films can sate viewers’ hunger for more.
Even if a new Elm Street movie is produced with Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger, it’s highly unlikely to acknowledge the events of New Nightmare, given its blurring of the lines between fiction and reality. (Freddy vs Jason ignored it as well.) YouTuber-turned-writer/director Cecil Laird teamed with producer Vincente Disanti — the filmmaker behind the popular Friday the 13th fan film Never Hike Alone — to fill that void with Dylan’s New Nightmare: A Nightmare on Elm Street Fan Film.

This week’s sixth episode of Peacock’s Bel-Air was all about Will navigating his feelings about his best friend Trey, and new friend Lisa.
Will’s decision to stay in Los Angeles instead of returning to Philly didn’t sit well with any his friends from back home, and they branded him as a traitor all over social media. Upset and angry, Will brushed off Aunt Viv’s attempts to console him and even broke a vase during a tantrum — a move that prompted Uncle Phil to remind him that he’s not the only one going through something.
