The first full-length trailer for Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three has just hit (via Toonado.com), and it teases what looks to be a high-stakes finale to this animated trilogy (and the Tomorrowverse as we know it).
With the Anti-Monitor on the loose, a whole host of heroes assemble to save the Multiverse, but it looks like that will be easier said than done when they also have Lex Luthor to contend with. Several other villains are also spotted, including The Joker, Scarecrow, and Two-Face.
In terms of cameos, the trailer ends with another Batman: The Animated Series tease. Batman Beyond also appears, but perhaps the biggest surprise comes when we return to the world of the Super Friends!

If you are a TV fanatic, you've likely watched your fair share of CW shows. So, you already know that if you've seen an actor in one CW series, you've likely seen them again in another. This means you're probably already familiar with Melissa Roxburgh but don't even realize it.
Starting out in installments of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies, the actress transitioned into broadcast television the following year.
To her credit, Melissa Roxburgh has become somewhat of a sci-fi siren of the small screen, often appearing in roles on shows with fantastical elements like time travel or supernatural monsters.
In recent years, she's gained notoriety, having developed a relationship with Netflix the same way she did with the CW. However, beyond being a serial series guest star, Roxburgh has had a handful of significant film roles that have shown she is a powerhouse of talent in her own right.

Supernatural came to a close in 2020 after fifteen seasons, which is a hell of a run for any live-action show, but fans would still love to see a reunion of the Winchesters.

After Supernatural wrapped up its fifteen season run back in 2020, the franchise was supposed to live on through the prequel series The Winchesters… but then the show’s home network The CW was taken over by a new management team that came in with the intention of wiping the CW slate clean for the most part. The Winchesters was cancelled after one season, then couldn’t find a new home because it had to be shopped around during the writers strike, when networks and streamers were hesitant to make major pickup decisions. But maybe that’s not the end for Supernatural after all. During an appearance at the Creation Honolulu convention earlier this month, the show’s stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles implied there’s more Winchester action to come. Could we see a Supernatural season 16 someday?

Despite bad weather conditions, the crew of Warner Bros. series The Winchesters was instructed to keep filming. Shortly thereafter, lightning struck a crew member.
Now, Warner Bros. is being sued for last year’s incident in Louisiana, accused of ignoring safety rules. The suit asks for compensatory and punitive damages for physical injuries, pain, and emotional distress suffered by plaintiff Bryan DeLorenzo. Warners, The CW Network, and executive producer Jensen Ackles, who starred in Supernatural, the precursor to The Winchesters, were named.
A heavy rainstorm was underway during the shoot, according to the complaint filed on Thursday.
Director John Showalter allegedly changed the scene for it to be shot in the rain. He directed the crew to continue filming despite questions about safety.
DeLorenzo was standing next to a camera when a loud ‘Boom’ occurred,” the complaint alleges.

There’s a joke thrown around The CW offices: “We have more fans than viewers,” the network’s president of entertainment Brad Schwartz told TheWrap in a recent interview.
It’s a good line, one that alludes to the network’s dedicated fan bases that routinely make small-audience shows like “Nancy Drew” and “Gotham Knights” trend on Twitter. But it’s also a joke that nods to why the network is in the middle of such a massive transition following its 2022 acquisition by Nexstar. For Schwartz, The CW’s future is dependent on both retaining the passionate audience that’s been loyal to the brand over the past 20 years, and diversifying so it can compete with its network peers.
This fall, the network is expanding well past what audiences may think is the typical CW brand. The 2023-2024 season features everything from more mature dramas and a Tuesday night comedy...

Spoiler Alert! This post contains details from the series finale of The CW’s Gotham Knights.
Gotham Knights ended its one-season run on The CW on Tuesday, as the network bids farewell to many of its scripted series.
The episode, titled “Night of the Owls,” opens with the crew in quite the predicament as they try to explain to Gotham Pd how they’ve once again been set up by the Court of Owls. Meanwhile, Rebecca (Lauren Stamile) is holding Harvey (Misha Collins) hostage inside Wayne Tower with his daughter Duela (Olivia Rose Keegan) strapped to a bomb. If Harvey unleashes Two Face, then Rebecca promises to disarm the bomb.
While he’s being questioned, Turner (Oscar Hayes) gets quite the shocker: Batman didn’t kill his parents in cold blood. In fact, he was defending himself from the couple, who were hired to murder him. In a (somewhat) fortunate turn of events,...

As TV academy voters fill out their 2023 Emmy Awards nominations ballots, they will have to consider 163 shows for Best Drama Series. This is only down by eight compared to last year. After six years of not having to limit their choices in any categories, members can now not let their selections exceed the number of eventual nominations for a given award, which will be eight in this case.

In a surprising move, CW has opted to bring back fan favourite series Superman & Lois for a slightly abbreviated fourth season. The network has been cancelling shows left and right, with them also pulling the plug on the Batman-universe-themed series Gotham Knights after only one season. This makes Superman & Lois the last remaining DC series on the network, with The Flash having recently aired its series finale.
According to Deadline, the renewal comes with a few caveats. For one, the budget has been slashed, meaning only ten episodes will be produced as opposed to the standard thirteen. The supporting cast is also expected to be reduced, perhaps moving some regulars down to recurring status or eliminating roles completely.

A day of picketing the set of the Starz/Lionsgate series Bmf in Atlanta turned dangerous for WGA writers Brian Egeston and Gabriel Alejandro Garza. In a series of tweets Thursday afternoon, accompanied by photos, Egeston claimed that Bmf line producer Ian Woolf, driving an SUV, pointed the vehicle at him “as though it were a weapon and slammed the brakes within six feet of writers.”
Egeston’s account was corroborated by Garza, a strike captain, who said that he was standing next to Egeston when the alleged incident happened and described it in a lengthy statement on Twitter Thursday evening. Egeston’s account was corroborated by Garza, a strike captain, who said that he was standing next to Egeston when the alleged incident happened and described it in a lengthy statement on Twitter Thursday evening. Garza claimed that he and Egeston were on a public sidewalk, not impeding traffic, when Woolf allegedly hit the accelerator and then by the brake as “he was looking directly at us the entire time and kept the vehicle pointed at us.”

A few weeks ago, we heard that The CW had cancelled the Supernatural prequel series The Winchesters after just one season – which wasn’t a major surprise, since The CW is under new management that is looking to wipe the slate clean for the most part. But being cancelled by The CW didn’t necessarily have to mean that The Winchesters was dead, because the show’s producers at Warner Bros. Television had the chance to find a new home for it on another network or at a streaming service. Unfortunately, Deadline reports that no one was interested in picking up The Winchesters, so the show is now officially over.
The Winchesters came from Warner Bros Television and CBS Studios. Glen Winter (Supergirl) directed and executive produced the pilot episode. This show was executive produced by Supernatural star Jensen Ackles and his wife Danneel through their company Chaos Machine Productions.

The campaign to save The Winchesters is over, and it's not the outcome we hoped for.
Over the weekend, Jensen Ackles took to Twitter to reveal that efforts to save the Supernatural spinoff had failed, meaning that The Winchesters Season 1 finale cliffhangers won't have any resolution.
"To all of you who watched, followed, and supported this story, thank you," Ackles, who served as EP and recurring guest star on the series, wrote.
"And to all those who brought this show to life...I couldn't be more proud of what we all did together."
The actor recognized that "timing is everything" and that The CW's shift in focus, coupled with the Writers Guild strike, meant that efforts to revive the show at another outlet was more difficult than anticipated.
"Sleep well dear [The Winchesters]. Until we meet again. Somewhere down the road," Ackles, who appeared on all 15 seasons of the original series on The CW,...

Update Saturday: The Winchesters executive producer Jensen Ackles weighed in on the series officially ending after no new network home could be found.
“With a massive Network shift coupled with an industry strike…welp…that’s some unfortunate timing,” he said on Twitter, thanking fans who rallied to try and save the show following its cancellation by the CW.
Previous Friday: The Supernatural franchise is coming to end — at least for now — as The Winchesters has not been able to get a second season anywhere. Producing studio Warner Bros. Television’s efforts to set up the Supernatural prequel series at another network or streaming platform following its cancellation by the CW have been unsuccessful. All possible avenues have been exhausted, and the search for a new home has come to an end, despite a strong #SaveTheWinchesters campaign led by series executive producer (and Supernatural star) Jensen Ackles.

Some canceled TV series get a second chance at life on another network or streaming platform, but The Winchesters is not so lucky. The Supernatural spin-off was one of the series The CW canceled in May as part of the broadcast network’s new focus on unscripted shows and cheaper scripted fare. Deadline reported at the time that Warner Bros. Television, the studio behind The Winchesters, was planning “aggressive” efforts to find the show a new home. Matt Miller/The CW Jensen Ackles, a star of Supernatural star and an executive producer of The Winchesters, also launched a #SaveTheWinchesters campaign on social media. “Looks like we’ve got some work to do,” Ackles wrote on Twitter on May 11, kicking off the campaign with a tweet that got over 20,000 likes and 1.7 million views. Alas, Deadline reported on Friday, June 2, that Warner Bros. Television exhausted every possible option to resurrect the show elsewhere.
