- TriviaThe character Shawni Burnett was portrayed by Jennifer Lutheran, who appeared in 6 episodes of the HBO Western series, Deadwood, which starred Timothy Olyphant, who portrays Raylan Givens on Justified.
- GoofsThe computer display on Roland Pike's fake identity in the California Department of Motor Vehicles identifies him as Dr. Peter Oldham. The DMV does not use abbreviations such as "Dr." in names. Additionally, it shows Peter Oldham's birthday as September 1973 yet the first citation as occurring in early 1988, before Oldham was even old enough to get a driving permit, followed by two speeding tickets the next year. Typically, juveniles caught driving without a license are ineligible to get a license until they turn 18. So if he had been caught driving without a license in 1988, upon these subsequent infractions, he would have been arrested instead of being cited for speeding.
- Quotes
Peters: Sir, I'm going to need you to put both hands on the steering wheel for me please.
Mr. Jones: I'm going to need you to kiss my taint. You ofay piece of shit.
Lane: Sir, you don't have to use that type of language.
Mr. Jones: Listen to you. Talking like a real house negro.
Lane: Sir, we stopped you because this vehicle has been flagged in a Federal hot-pursuit manhunt. But right now we're going to have to ask you to please step out of the car before we have to take you out of the car, sir.
Mr. Jones: Show some respect for your elders. I was greasing slopes in the Mekong Delta while you and your boyfriend were still sucking on your mama's tit-tays!
Peters: Sir, I don't know what the Mekong Delta is.
Lane: Sir, this vehicle is not registered to you.
Mr. Jones: Just got it.
Peters: Where'd you get it?
Mr. Jones: Found it.
Lane: You found it?
Mr. Jones: Found it.
Lane: Where'd you find it?
Mr. Jones: In your sister's ass.

This one goes to Alan Ruck in a terrific guest-starring role as a man hiding out from the mob. And this guy is a hard luck case to the depths of his being. I mean, it's just one misfortune after another. And it helps that Raylas's a supporting presence, but Ruck really humanizes the guy. But the Marshal does have his moments, particularly a very nice standoff in the third act.
