Is this the end??
toddsgolfin14 January 2022
This is a cool episode for sure. However, this all feels like a death spiral. A team having fun with episodes knowing it's all over. I really hope we hear about a renewal...but all signs point to a big fat no.

Point yourself to Katy Lotz IG post saying goodbye to her Vancouver apartment after all these years. She didn't say anything else...but either the star is leaving or the show is over...which makes me sad. This is a very fun show with a ensemble cast that is a blast.

A very interesting episode

Warning: Spoilers
This is such a good episode since it is showed from the other side of the Legends. Probably the best episode yet. It is always cool to see androids gain "sentience".

Finally an episode to like the majority of the new class
jontryingteach9 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Finally, an episode that I actually enjoyed all the dross characters that they have been feeding us over the last two seasons, of course "evil Gideon" chose to pick the "evil/robot legends" all from the current crop, rather than some of the originals, but seemed to use some of their personas. None of them actually annoyed me, and I could seriously watch a sho with them as "Android Legends of Tomorrow" but only with reprogrammed "assassin Sara".....actually the only time I've liked her.

Actually, ditch the current characters, and let's have "Android Legends of Tomorrow", I'd watch that. As long as they kept it to the original idea of Legends but with today's android cast.

Or use your time travel ability, and go back to season 6, change the name to "Social Justice Women in Time (and Space)" and use the current cast and extended it into 5 seasons of its own stuff.

Sorry, rants again.

Love the idea of this episode, and actually made the "new class" likable at last! Though no John/Gwyn (though of course he has to be gay) or Rory.....but still started to like the "new class" characters. Even Astrid! (Sure a little bitter, as I foresaw that, as soon as she started learning magic, Constantine was done.)

Interesting POV from the other side

I liked how this ep showed things from the "villains" side of things an how many times people aren't evil when they are led to believe something or manipulated enough to distrust good people. Villanous Sara reminded me a lot of the Sara we first met back in Arrow during S2. Comes to show how much she's grown and changed over the years. Proud of how far she's come.

A lighthearted, funny ep as much as it was a dark one too.

"It all started last week .Monday morning to be exact -the day I lost my identity."

Warning: Spoilers
God, these Robo-Legends are just so negative lol. Oh my god, I just can't with this intro LOL. So, this episode is gonna focus on the Robo-Legends showing us their opposite dynamic and their mission to find the Legends. Also WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH NATE'S ARMS? Robo-Sara orders Gideon to head for Ukraine, 1986. Sara readies up her team in preparation to "save the history".

Wait a min- how the heck are Robo-Astra & Spooner still alive? Did they get repaired all of the sudden? Nate calls the team to go with him. Robo-Nate stands in front of a car bearing the crap out of the Soviets. Sara joins the run as well! So do Astra and Behrad. "Captain always has the best lines." Agreed. Sara informs the General in his office informing him of her motives & how this is a historical event. Gary reaching out for candy in the food machine is such a mood, lel.

The Legends are informed of the news that the citizens have already heard the evacuation. The Legends form a plan involving the General informing the citizens that the evacuation was a false call, but the General refuses. This angers Nate threatens to steel-punch him, but that's not enough. Then they plan to hurt his family, but they have a little argument about killing kids until Gary almost shallows him and a bullet pierced through Sara which is causing his blood pressure to go wack. The General so does inform the evacuation to be a false call.

Sara is called back to the ship to the medical bay where Ava operates on her by bandaging her wound. Sara sneaks into the storage of the microchips that Ava has in storage telling Zari about it. The two think that Ava is controlling them. The Legends are informed of one nuclear physicist not coming back which will take a dangerous route. Yeah, this Gideon is acting pretty strange. The ship arrives in Norway, in 1992 as the Legends watch behind the screen/CCTV.

Sara has a talk with the Nuclear Physicist asking for answers until the needle finishes injecting fatal doses in 35 seconds. Zari informs Sara that they are the androids and programmed to be ruthless, etc. Sara then asks the motive of the plan, telling her to run, retrieving her purse. Sara brings the purse back into the ship. Sara and Zari walk into their room about the historical record of the Legends and Dr. Ava's motives for all of this. Sara threatens to slice Ava's throat in front of the Legends telling them the truth behind what they are.

Ava does tell the truth. Sara lets her go, but the Legends still don't believe this until Ava does confirm about the core process stuff. From now on, Sara declares to make their own choices rather than being manipulated and convincing the members to be whoever they want to be. Gideon reprograms Zari. YET, the Legends still don't believe in her as she gets injected and is transported to the Medical Bay. Sara comes back for the Nuclear Physicist brutally & deeply stabbing her in the gut, eventually killing her which impresses the Legends. In the end, we get a little nice PSA of bullying. ALSO, THAT HAD ME LAUGHING when one of the kids called him John Cena. Perhaps a Peacemaker reference? Wait no- this was in 1992.

Thoughts?

Dang, I quite like Robo-Zari's character more than the Zari we know which is pretty sad, but I still like Zari in this season. It was interesting seeing the opposite dynamic of the "Legends". I'm glad they didn't go the route where they're just like "hehe evil" type of androids, but give in more depth of their character which is brilliant writing where two of the folks find out they were manipulated into believing they were the real Legends. Robo-Nate was tons of fun to watch, and I can see the actor enjoying every second of it.

You can pretty much say it's an exploration of identity & existential crisis in a small-scale setting. Also wow, this was dark with tight pacing, and a good soundtrack. I felt so defeated when Robo-Sara was reprogrammed at the end. It was a great try though.

But, there are some flaws I had in mind within this. We didn't get any exploration of the other Legends. Man, I majorly dislike Dr. Ava with his personality, especially lol.

10/10.

I miss my legends...
deepdarkhall15 January 2022
Just realized why I keep watching this show. Laughter, tears and love.. Guess I have to start watching it from the beginning.. Its been fun couple of years with the various characters, som really good episodes, some really bad. But all of them a joy to be in.. yes.. to be in.. It feels like you are part of the legends, not a spectator.
