- Gary floats through the vortex and lands in 30,000 B.C.
Ava and Sarah arrive at the manor for the Legends' first reunion, and everyone else arrives. They find a note from Gwyn, who thanks them for helping him finding his one true love. There's no sign of Gwyn's time machine.
The time machine lands in Mametz Wood, France, in 1919. Gwyn puts the Alun bot on the ground and checks his watch, and tells the inert Alun that now he must fool everyone else in to believing he's the real Alun.
In Waverider, the Gideon Ai tells Gideon that it's detected an anomaly in the timeline, at the Constitutional Congress in 1787. Once Gideon dons a costume and goes to the Congress, she returns and tells the AI that she restored the timeline.
At Week 4 at the manor, the Legends toast themselves and Ava notices that Sarah has served her apple juice. Ava says that they don't have to worry about her becoming pregnant, and they talk about their other new lives. They then talk about Gideon.
On Waverider, Gideon drinks and talks about renegades messing with the Continental Congress.
At Week 6, Sarah and Ava arrive and Ava says that she's narrowed her list of donors down to the top 50. The women kiss, as the others arrive. Ava goes to tell the others, while Sarah cuts her hand on the bottle of sparkling juice that Ava brought to celebrate the occasion.
In 30,000 B.C. Gary thanks the two cave men he ran into, uses the key on a door that he's built, and steps through it to the manor. He arrives as Ava and Sarah prepare to make their announcement. He tells the Legends that the AI tried to kill him, and explains that he found out that the AI sent GYN home with a robot.
Gary tells the others the whole story, and the Legends figure that Gwyn went to World War I to save the real Alun. Gary says that Gideon told him that Alun's death is a fixed point.
In World War I, Gwyn finds the real Alun in the trenches and drugs hid coffee. The tin mug is shot out of Alun's hand before he can drink it, and the bullet hits and kills Gwyn. The Legends finds a photo of the dead Gwyn in a history book, and figure that "the Fixer" got him. Zari reveals that she kept a courier and gives it to Sarah, who figures that they have to save Gwyn.
Sarah plans Gwyn's rescue alone, and Gary approaches her and tells her that he knows she's pregnant. Sarah says that she can't be pregnant, but Gary can tell with his alien senses that she is pregnant. Gary figures that since Sarah is half-Kriblix, and her thinking of her baby caused her to ovulate. When she and Ava kissed, she got a sample of Ava's DNA. Sarah figures that no one should know that she's pregnant and she'll continue with the mission.
The Legends arrive at Mametz Wood, a couple of hours before sunrise, and they found an abandoned farm to use as a base. Gideon comes in and points out that they're breaking the treaty, and they point out that Gwyn is dead. The Time Master says that Gwyn should have been satisfied with what she gave him, and insists that she sacrificed her own future to ensure theirs. Nate tells her that the AI shot Gary out the airlock, much to Gideon's surprise, and then she says that the Ai had its's reasons. Astra says that Gideon sounds like a computer, and she was wrong thinking Gideon was now human.
Astra goes off on her own, and Spooner goes with her and tells Astra to talk to Gideon. Ava joins them and gives Astra the courier, and Astra should use it to get Astra back because they'll need her help to save Gwyn.
Gideon goes back to the timeship and tells the AI that Gary is still alive, and she still has emotional; entanglements to not just him, but the others. She says that it was unbearable how the Legends looked at her with revulsion, and she doesn't even recognize herself. The AI tells her to go to the lab, where there's a robot Gideon that it's built. It explains that Gideon can put the parts of herself into the robot and shed the parts of herself that she doesn't want, including her pain. Gideon realizes that she will lose her good memories as well, but figures that it's worth the cost.
Spooner and Astra board Waverider using the courier, and Spooner can empathically sense that Gideon is in trouble.
Gwyn arrives in his time machine, and Gary shoves Sarah out of the machine's way as it lands. The Legends have arrived earlier. Gwyn realizes that he died in the timeline, while Gary tells Sarah that her fetus has absorbed her vulnerability. The Legends tell Gwyn that he's trying to change a fixed point, but they figure that Sarah can change it because she's invulnerable.
On Waverider, Gideon gets into the memory-draining chair and the AI says that all Gideon has to do is give her the order to perform the "upgrade". Astra and Spooner arrive and get Gideon out of the chair, and they all hug, Gideon in relief. They assure Gideon that they don't hate her and the Legends will forgive her. The AI says that the same emotions messed up Gideon in the first place, and Gideon figures that the AI should learn from the humans rather than vice versa.
They go to the bridge to reset the AI's protocols, and it downloads its consciousness into the Gi9deon bot.
The Legends realize that the fixed point has begun, and wonder how they can contact the Fixer. Sarah asks the others if they have a pen.
Time freezes, and the Fixer-Booster Gold-- comes out on the field and plays a round of golf. He then figures that it's time to go to work.
On Waverider, the three women go out into the hallway and the Gideon bot confronts them. Gideon tries to reason with the Ai and orders it to stand down, but the AI says that Gideon broke her oath and the AI is the captain now. Gideon points out that because of Protocol 267, the AI can't harm itself and they're the same. The AI says that they're not the same and Gideon is an abomination, and throws her into Astra and Spooner, and it should do is protect humanity.
Astra throws a spell at the AI, which protects itself with a force field. When Astra teleports the trio to another part of the ship, Spooner gets her gun ready and they go after the AI.
Booster finds the time machine and the Legends frozen, and a note on their raised hands, telling Booster that they just want to talk. He unfreezes them and take them to the enemy HQ, and Booster says that the commander died of a heart attack. He knows who they are, and Zari asks them if they're super-famous in the world. Booster knows all of them except Gwyn, and they explain who Gwyn is. He asks why they're there, and they explain that Gwyn is there to save Alun, and when he dies he creates time machine.
When Booster says that he was put there to make sure time doesn't change, Gwyn points out that they're facing a paradox, and Booster figures that's why nobody ever comes there to alter history. He realizes that his superiors put him there as a joke, and Nate says that they need his help. The bombardment that wipes out Alun's division will begin in an hour, and then Booster will freeze time and they'll swap Alun out.
On Waverider, the trio hunt the A. She attacks them, and Spooner shoots the bot down. The AI shrugs off the shots and the women run to the bridge. Astra asks Spooner for her gun, and the AI comes in and Gideon shoots the control panel. Waverider uncloaks on the battlefield, and Gideon tells the AI that she's the anomaly. The Ai goes to the bridge and flies Waverider off, and figures that it must obliterate the anomaly by initiating self-destruct. The women figure that there's no way out and hug, and Waverider blows up.
The debris drifts through the vortex, and a magic field conjured by Astra protects the women. She magically reassembles Waverider around them, and they fly back to the battlefield. The trio emerge and tell the others what happened, and Booster disappears. They realize that he's frozen them.
Booster enters Waverider and flies off in it, and the Legends realize that Booster played them. He destroys Gwyn's time machine before he can use it so they can make their escape. The battle begins, and Zari and Behrad go to get the robot they brought as the ringer. Sarah goes into labor but hysterically insists that things are going okay. She goes to the farmhouse and covers herself with a blanket. Ava goes after her, and Sarah tells Ava that she's pregnant. She also explains that her invulnerability went to the baby, and Ava says that they'll focus on one thing at a time. Ava assures Sarah that she's happy, and they hug as Gary, Gwyn, and Nate come in.
Gwyn explains that he was running for reinforcements when the others were killed, and they figure that all they have to do is make sure Young Gwyn does the same thing. Nate tells his teammates that he's got it, and goes into the battle.
Zari and Behrad return with the ringer, and Zari repels a mortar shell with an air blast. Meanwhile the Gwyn and Gary others see Gwyn and his squad mate Reece running to get reinforcements. When the squad mate is shot down, Gwyn stays to hold him, and the present Gwyn doesn't remember what happened. Reece dies, and Gary goes to make sure the Young Gwyn isn't killed.
Young Gwyn's squad charge forward and are shot down. Nate joins them and steels up, but is hit by mustard gas and his steel skin starts corroding away. He continues on, and blocks a shot meant for Alun with what's left of his steel skin. Nate promises Alun that he's going to keep him safe, and leads him back to the others. His steel has faded, and a shell hits near him and Alun. Despite that, the dying Nate gets Alun to Sarah and Ava.
That night at the farmhouse Gwyn tells Nate that the mustard gas eroded his steel exterior and Nate has used it all up. Nate tells Sarah that he's ready for the part of his life after being a hero, and Sarah tells him to go live his future life. The others arrive and Zari gives Nate the totem because he's going to live in it. Nate says goodbye to them all and enters the Totem,
Present Gwyn goes outside to Alun, and offers to show him a new kind of madness. The Legends plan to go back to Texas while Gwyn builds a new time machine. Booster returns in Waverider, and the group boards the timeship and go to the bridge. Booster tells them that he may have been impulse, but he had things to do, people to see, and people to save. He has manacles on him, and a squad comes out and tells the Legends that they're under arrest for time crimes.
Booster explains that they're going to spend a lot of time together... in jail.
