Autopsy
Resident Alien resumes the second half of season two. Ironically it took a break just as the sophomore season found its feet.
The previous episode finished with a baby alien on the loose. A man who had threatened Asta and Harry in New York have now caught up with them again.
Only Asta shoots him dead before Harry gets shot again. Now it is a case of disposing of the body and D'Arcy has a plan.
While Asta feels guilt over killing someone. Harry plans to become the town doctor again and somehow fix the autopsy.
The episode does get back to the basic quirkiness of the first series. A bit more flakiness and Harry Vanderspeigle unwittingly becomes a marriage guidance counsellor.
Hopefully the remainder of the second series will be more consistent. I like to think the mini break would be a creative shot in the arm.
