- Nate Heywood: I'm not a Nazi. I'm a historian.
- Amaya Jiwe: Here we go with the time travel nonsense again.
- Nate Heywood: 070233.
- Commander Steel: What?
- Nate Heywood: Those are the numbers on your dog tags. They're not disclosed on any documents, military or otherwise.
- Commander Steel: How do you know that?
- Nate Heywood: [pulling the tags out from around his neck] You gave these to your wife after the birth of your son in 1955. The dent on the front was from an assassin's bullet when you saved President Roosevelt in 1939. Your son passed them down to his son. Me.
- Nazi #1: You're late, Herr Thawne.
- Eobard Thawne: You'll find that I have an entirely different concept of time than most.
- Nate Heywood: Hey, that fabrication room's pretty cool. Can it really make clothes from any era?
- Sara Lance: Yeah. You know, we may not have trophies or framed letters from former presidents, but we got a few cool toys. Including... ingestible translator. You swallow this, you'll be able to speak and understand any language spoken to you.
- Nate Heywood: That's cool. But I already speak German, French, Japanese, Italian, and Latin.
- [seeing her expression]
- Nate Heywood: What?
- Sara Lance: You speak six different languages, you have a tendency to run towards danger, and you're related to member of the JSA. Why did you become a historian?
- Nate Heywood: It's a long story.
- Baron Krieger: [admiring the Atom suit] I must admit, it's a feat of engineering far beyond anything I've ever seen, or expected from you Americans.
- Ray Palmer: Well... maybe you Germans should just stick to your luxury cars.
- Commander Steel: I'm sorry if I didn't live up to the version of Commander Steel you dreamt of meeting.
- Nate Heywood: Nah, I like the real version better.
- Eobard Thawne: Did you locate the item?
- Nazi #1: It's in Berlin. The Fuhrer refuses to part with it.
- Eobard Thawne: I have something much more valuable to offer him. The JSA are basically a group of supersoldiers. To win, the Reich will need their own.
- [holding up a syringe of something colored blue]
- Eobard Thawne: This is just a taste. Enough to dose one person. Uh... proof of concept. Give me what I want, and your Fuhrer will be planting his flag on the White House lawn within a matter of months.
- Sara Lance: How are things with your grandfather?
- Nate Heywood: You know, I think he's avoiding me for some reason.
- Sara Lance: Well, it's hard for people to look at their future.
- Ray Palmer: [Heywood was injured in an accident] I think I can save him. With this.
- Dr. Martin Stein: Is that the Nazis' serum that created that hideous berserker? Are you mad?
- Ray Palmer: I did a little tinkering to the formula, so...
- Dr. Martin Stein: So what will it do now?
- Ray Palmer: With any luck, save his life.
- Commander Steel: How do we know if it's working?
- Ray Palmer: [looking at Nate's vitals] He's not dead yet, so that's a good sign.
- Sara Lance: And he's not turning into a Nazi berserker.
