Decent and fun.
cruise0129 July 2019
Episode 4.10 (3.5 out of 5 stars).

Another decent fun episode. Has the Legends going back to 1960s Mexico during their Mexican wrestling matches to find the wolf man guy that was freed from the Bureau.

It was a lot of fun seeing them going back to that time and era with the wrestling. Except the episode does suffer from the annoying sub plot character of Mona and the wolf guy's love story. Mona is annoying. The ending gets a little weird and irritating. Meanwhile, Nate discovers something about the Bureau. Ava and Sarah get conflicted.

A incongruous mess.

Warning: Spoilers
An extreme disappointment after a long wait. This episode's different little stories did not harmonize at all.

The AvaLance drama was bizarre. Why did they rewrite Ava into someone far more heartless, calloused and narrow-minded that when she first started? That made several illogical steps backward in her character development. Hers was not the only character that seemed different and not in a good way, either.

The Nick and Zari paring was as awkward to watch as one would imagine and while Nick's mom was mildly humorous, but irritating because the jokes relied on a very tired cliche.

I have nothing good to say about the stereotypical Asian parent caricatures they tried to pass off as Mona's parents.

Conversely, there were some genuinely hilarious moments during the wrestling scenes - but I found it distracting to be set in Mexico in 1961 and a great deal of the audience did not look remotely Mexican and barely a word of Spanish was spoken. Maybe they should have saved some of the subtitles for this.

The big finish was not what I wanted to see, not only because I was invested in the characters, but because it was so poorly done it was maddening.

Bottom line: Nothing felt cohesive, many of the characters that previously played well and/or had chemistry with each other behaved like strangers, the story threads that could have been extremely interesting were left half realized, and overall, this episode was like being served stale junk food after waiting for a great home cooked meal.

The Legends are dead..

After a what...3 month hiatus. Right when the show was airing its best episodes ever. And we come back to this mess of an episode. It was not bad, but not as good as I was used to before the break. Maybe all the characters are different due to something that happens on the flash. Everyone seemed a little bit more evil. Loved the parts with the wrestling and Constantine. Hated the lesbian drama. The wolf -love drama was okay.. but the ending was as dumb as rocks. No i cant go with you...ohh im a wolf too..WTF ..dang i should have gone with you....nooooo....

Warning: Spoilers
Just casually rewatching LoT, and the episode before this one was good, the one before was okay, but this one suffers really bad, especially from the acting from ramona. Even konane is better portrayed than this excuse of a character. Hoping she leaves in one of the first episodes of season 5

Main plot - lesbians arguing, acting out and eventually breaking up
breathedirt3 April 2019
Where to start? The only watchable and funny character was Mick. The rest was not funny at all but awkward, no meaningful story, dialogs in Chinese (of course, it was directed in Vancouver) and poorly choreographed fight scenes. Let's wait for fake 10/10 reviews to artificially bump up the ratings.

I've had enough
hannes-gudjonsson10 April 2019
I've watched this show until now, without really liking it that much but still it's been somewhat entertaining. I do love time travels and super heroes, that's probably why I've watched this despite the pretty poor manuscript and bad acting but this episode was the worst Legends ever. I actually turned it off 10 minutes from the end, I just couldn't watch it. Caity Lotz, 'Sara' is horrible, one of the worst performances I've ever seen and the rest just sucks. The story has become so stupid and it looks like the writers and actors don't care at all.
