Quotes
-
Nate Heywood : [about to kiss Zari] I guess theres an upside to getting pummeled.
-
Zari Tomaz : [nervous] You know how I... never let anyone know what I'm... really feeling?
Nate Heywood : [equally nervous] It's kinda your thing.
Zari Tomaz : [she kisses Nate] That's... how I feel, Nate.
Nate Heywood : I feel the same.
[They kiss again]
-
Nate Heywood : Whoa, smells like somebody hasn't showered since birds were letters. That's a hieroglyphics joke.
-
Sara Lance : Z, how's it going?
Zari Tomaz : It's going super awesome.
Sara Lance : How are you and Nate?
Nate Heywood : [chasing after and catching the mummy] Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Good.
Zari Tomaz : Ah, Nate Dog? It's, uh, it's going totally great, in a super platonic way.
Sara Lance : Then why are you guys being so weird?
Zari Tomaz : It was that awkward, huh?
Sara Lance : Even the mummy thought it was awkward.
-
Ava Sharpe : All right, people, we've got a hit. New York City, 1933, the Adventurers' Society.
Nate Heywood : Shut the front door.
Zari Tomaz : What's the Adventurers' Society?
Nate Heywood : It's a club for archaeologists and explorers. It's basically the coolest place in history. Guys, this is gonna be awesome.
-
Sara Lance : Nate, you're running point on this one. With Zari.
Nate Heywood , Zari Tomaz : For real?
Nate Heywood : Um...
Ava Sharpe : [turning around to talk privately] Sara, we did not discuss this.
Sara Lance : Look, relax, it's just a cleanup job. They'll do fine.
Ava Sharpe : [turning back] Okay, find the fugitive, bring him in, preferably in one piece. Now scram.
-
Zari Tomaz : I can't believe everyone else bailed on the mission.
Nate Heywood : More Adventurers' Society for us.
-
Nate Heywood : In the words of Ray and Mike Tyson, I think we found our "myth-tery" man.
-
Nate Heywood : Trip wires. This is gonna require one of us to squeeze through these trip wires, maneuvering our bodies in unexpected ways.
Zari Tomaz : Are you asking me to do that?
Nate Heywood : No, I'm asking you to hold my coat.
-
Zari Tomaz : Hi, Sara, uh, Nate and Zari here. Uh, first of all, well played.
Nate Heywood : Yeah, setting up this whole adventure for us to go on a date was way over the top. But in the same breath, very sweet. And if I were to give a note, the Nazis were just, like, a tad too much.
Sara Lance : What are... what are you talking about?
Nate Heywood : Are they in the same theater troupe as Ava's parents?
Sara Lance : What?
Zari Tomaz : Sara, drop the act. Nazis killing us with throwing daggers? Come on.
-
Nate Heywood : I'm sorry that our first date got ruined by Nazis.
Zari Tomaz : Who says it's ruined?
-
Zari Tomaz : I know these costumes are totally ridiculous.
Nate Heywood : You-you... you look absolutely, um... yeah, ridiculous.
Zari Tomaz : Uh, apparently it's all part of a cover story Sara gave me. I'm someone named Marion Ravenwood.
Nate Heywood : Wait. Wait a second.
[taking out his wallet]
Nate Heywood : Huh. Well, it says here I am Dr. Henry Jones, Jr. Professor of archaeology, expert in the occult, and how does one say this? Obtainer of rare antiquities. It's Indiana Jones. Yeah.
Zari Tomaz : Sara set us up.
Nate Heywood : What's that?
Zari Tomaz : Adventurers' Society, everyone else unavailable for the mission, dressing up like your favorite movie; it's all a setup to send us on the perfect date. I-I totally get if you wanna go back to the ship.
Nate Heywood : Or we can see where this mission takes us.
