New Amsterdam: In a Strange Land (2021)
Shut up snowflakes
So tired of the neg reviews from republican snowflakes who can't handle seeing people treated with care & respect. Buzz off.
The lower rating is for the tiresome cartoonish character of Fuentes. She needs to go, which pains me because Michelle Forbes is a favorite of mine. But I want medical drama from my medical dramas, not boring boardroom nonsense.
Grey's Anatomy: Tradition (2021)
Booooooo!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
There are at least 12 people I'd rather see off the show that Greg Germann. I hope another show snaps him up soon.
Owen & Teddy again? Must we?
I thought we were done with Jackson after last week. --sigh-- At least we didn't have to deal with April again.
Meredith ditching her clap-out. What a jerk.
Yay for Helm getting her own story!
Was this a backdoor pilot for a First Nations-centered medical drama. That would be awesome!
Grey's Anatomy: Look Up Child (2021)
43 minutes of my life I'll never get back
This whole episode could've been one line of somebody filling Meredith in on the goings-on while she was sleeping:
Bailey--"....and that pompous d-bag Jackson decided to take over the foundation & moved to Boston & took that irritating twit April with him."
Meredith--"Ugh, good riddance."
15 seconds into April's first frantic breathless monologue & I was already done. She should've been gunned down in the mass shooting episode. Of course, then she would've been sticking her snout in Mer's business on Afterlife Beach, so we still would've had to put up with her.
Please, Jackson & April, stay away for good.
Chicago Med: Stories, Secrets, Half-Truths and Lies (2021)
This show should be called Chicago Idiots.
It's nearly impossible to root for most of these clowns anymore. It's just one stupid decision after another. Will & Natalie and this drug trial debacle with her mother. Dear God, I've almost got brain damage & a detached retina from shaking my head and rolling my eyes. Maggie gets her surprise daughter to come work in the E. D. then gets her performing procedures without a doctor present. Goodwin runs over a kid and just can't stay the hell away from his mother. April's forging doctors' signatures. Ethan has the world's biggest stick up his ass, but doesn't have the sac to get Steven Webber to stand down. And THAT a-hole needs to go back to his little airplane show with Crystal Bernard & leave us the hell alone.
Crockett & Charles are the only ones worth a damn. Let's see what stupid things are in store for them.
9-1-1: Breaking Point (2021)
Lame episode
The opening seemed like a really long setup just for 20 seconds of pulling the cork from the guy's neck.
The "standoff" was preposterous. A jackass waving a gun around with people right below him & no police perimeter? They could've taken him down with a tranquilizer dart & been done with it in 10 minutes.
If it was so easy to distribute those thousands of vaccines, why were they just chillin in the freezer?
I don't care about Albert & the bitchy girl. I don't care about the dumbass news reporter who thinks it's fine to stand directly under someone waving a gun. I don't care about Eddie dating the math troll.
I don't know much about Uber, but do they really take unaccompanied children as passengers? I doubt it.
This show is becoming really frustrating to watch. And it will be until Buck & Eddie get married and raise Christopher as a couple.
9-1-1: Lone Star: Displaced (2021)
Zzzzzzzzz
This episode was like a long slow death. I don't care about the stupid little coffee cups or the girl's black belt or the ugly Japanese bowl or the damn baby that was fathered by someone who hasn't even been on the show. I haven't liked Lisa Edelstein in anything she's been in. Now that it's somebody else's kid, I hope that means she's leaving.
It only gets 3 stars because of TK in his underwear. 😍
9-1-1: There Goes the Neighborhood (2021)
Yawn
Wow. A takeoff on Rear Window. Well that's never been done before. How original.
Episode was saved by Marsha Warfield as Hen's mom. More please!
Revenge: Hatred (2014)
It's gettin' nasty in the Grayson mansion!
To paraphrase Daniel, an episode without Charlotte is a gift to the universe.
Criminal Minds: Sex, Birth, Death (2006)
R.I.P. Anton
This episode shows what a remarkably talented young actor Anton Yelchin was. Such a tragic death. He had so much more to give.
Criminal Minds: The Boogeyman (2006)
Good riddance!
They should've just killed her off in Fisher King 2.
13 Reasons Why: House Party (2020)
What a relief!
It was a 4 star episode at best, but they get an extra 5 stars for NO ANI!! NOT EVEN ONE SCENE!! PRAISE THE LORD & SWEET BABY JESUS!
Criminal Minds: The Fisher King: Part 2 (2006)
Why did Elle survive?
They should've just killed Elle off. Judging from the reviews I've read on here, the character is nearly universally disliked. She should've just flown off to heaven with her dead dad. The actress has been good in many other things. I don't know what went wrong with this character.
They should've killed off Gideon too. He's a pain in the ass.
The Resident: Home Before Dark (2021)
Too bad, so sad.
Such a pleasure to see karma sink her fangs into Dr Cain's spectacular buttocks. Maybe he'll recover and not be a garbage human being anymore. Time will tell.
I thought it was unlikely they'd kill Nic, but I also thought maybe Ms VanCamp needed to be free for the new Marvel series. Again, time will tell.
Call Me Kat: Vacation (2021)
Dear God make it stop
Painfully unfunny from beginning to end. I almost feel sorry for the cast, having to spew this drivel every week, but they get paid to do this, so they should do it better. WE should get paid.
NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Sunburn (2021)
Garbage
From beginning to end, this episode was just garbage. Not even hot garbage. Stale, rancid garbage. An escape room? Is this episode set 5 years ago? And the dialogue! "It's an escape room, it's locked from the outside, REMEMBER?" Sweet Jesus.
All the scenes were horribly written. Maria Bello looked like she could barely bring herself to say the words, & who can blame her.
The whole mystery was contrived & dumb. Even McGee & Delilah, who've been very entertaining in the past, were having a hard time with the stilted dialogue.
And this mess with Fornell has dragged on so long, who the hell even remembers how it started.
Fail.
Chicago Med: When Your Heart Rules Your Head (2021)
Dr Grandpa
Ethan is a tool. Dr Charles isn't going to be happy to be a grandpa. I fear Anna's gonna do something stupid. I like Noah. If he's going to Atlanta, maybe he can cross over to The Resident. 😁
We need more Maggie, less Ethan.
Bones: The Woman in the Car (2006)
Viewed through the 2021 prism....
15 years later, it's easy to forget what a massive conspiracy-spewing tool Hodgins was in the beginning. If the show was still on, I wonder if he'd get sucked down the QAnon rabbit hole.
Also fun to see things like Brennan insisting that she's never going to have kids.
13 Reasons Why: Let the Dead Bury the Dead (2019)
Well, that was as clear as mud.
The problem with releasing an entire series all at once, is there's no chance for course correction. Perhaps if they'd released it one ep a week, they would've realized early on that Ani was nearly universally loathed, and they could've done something to make her less insufferable. Something. I hope season 4 finds her missing, dead or deported. Or at least struck mute by a sea-witch's curse.
This whole season reminded me of "Airplane." One of the best running gags in that movie is how Ted keeps relating, in agonizing flashbacks, the history of his & Elaine's love. And the poor people who are stuck listening to his incessant rambling take their own lives rather than listen to him for one minute more. That's me with Ani. I hope I never hear her voice again.
The Resident: Mina's Kangaroo Court (2021)
It's AFTER COVID! Pay attention.
In last week's episode, it was established that events are taking place in the post-COVID world. So the reviewer who whined about the realism was off base.
High rating for showing Logan Kim the exit. Please stay gone. Hopefully Cain goes next. Preferably head first down an elevator shaft.
Conrad Ricomora! Stay please!
The Resident: Belief System (2019)
They need to START OVER
This episode was so cartoonist, it should've been animated. From the trip to The Town That Hates Doctors & its preposterous storms in which lightning & thunder happen simultaneously, to the hatefully dismissive DID story, to the idiot vampires, it's hard to pick which story was stupider.
And then we have Conrad, with his already overly smug and punchable face, doubling down on playing the hero for crossing over to "24" territory to torture a bad guy.
They need to start this show over again. Put Nic, Devon, Mina & Feldman to work in the free clinic, and have all the other badly written overacted characters die screaming when Chastaine collapses in on itself.
The nurse who kills it at karaoke & Bell's goofy assistant may live too.
