Won't go over the whole story again. This movie was so much fun to watch. It was well written and moved quickly. All the lead characters especially the main couple were so good. It was very interesting and enjoyable mystery and love story.,

The secondary characters are well written and interesting. The ones that didn't seem plausible weren't as we found out in the end.

It would have been nice if the movie could have been really filmed in New England not Canada like so many of the Hallmark films. The sites were very close to New England sites . But I realize this isn't a travel film but a mystery story .

This is the second time I watched this movie and I enjoyed it even more than the first time. The characters are well written and well acted. The chemistry between the actors was great.

The story is about a female Air Force pilot that has just moved with her daughter from a base in Japan to a base in The US. She has just become part of the.elite team. Her daughter makes friends with a girl her age and her father. There's lots of flying , family time with the girls and then romance.

When one of the girls has a medical emergency in true Hallmark style the pilot flys a dangerous trip and gets the heart in time, Love , family and flying great film.

I have no idea why there was so much negativity about th Shawn character not being in the movie. It was the early part of CoViD and people couldn't go from the United States and Canada freely. Hallmark did and does do almost all of their filming in Canada.

All the negative comments about the lead character with a shaved head were just as silly. He looked great and it was a nice change.

Now the Taylor Cole character was so self absorbed because her husband to be didn't ask her permission for everything he was doing was unpleasant. They have been together for a few years. She knows he runs a company and had other responsibilities but some how she thinks he has to tell her everything. Not a good way to start a relationship.

This was the second time I watched this movie. It is well done the lead characters have really good chemistry. I enjoyed watching the change in both of their attitudes to each other as the story unfolds.

My biggest negative was a common one for Hallmark movies. It's supposed to be Chicago and all the use is burred distant shots of my beautiful city and people on sound stages. I believe this was done during COVID but blurred backgrounds were distracting from the story. There should at least be an attempt to make the background match with the story. British Columbia is beautiful but not the Midwest around Chicago.

The story was good and very different than the usual. The sequences with the baking were really good. I really like the romance part of the they became friends first .

I disagree with the idea the mother in law is some kind of savior to the couple. She is a big part of the problem. She gets in the way for her own needs and wants.

The husband is putting his birth family ahead of his family with his wife and expecting her to just go along. It's not fair to anyone. Even the sister tries to explain to her brother the dad that not everyone is used to always putting your birth family first. She talks about how they tried to name the baby before it was born . All the husband could say I was in trouble with my mom about that. The mother in law finally gets it half way thru the movie . She finally stops meddling.

It was a good idea to discuss real issues in a Christmas movie. The holidays often brings out real conflict that really about other things.

Am I the only one that finds it odd there are so many Hallmark movies about people who can't get over the death of a parent. They have husbands and / or wives, friends careers and they are obsessed with a parent that has died. They refuse to move on and they feel unable to deal with reality. The fact they can't move on just makes you feel sad for the other people in their lives.

Main character starts the movie determined to hold on to the past at all cost. Her husband wants to go back to their original plans and she refuses because her mother died and left her an expensive house she can't afford just because it was her mothers dream . Then she is given a chance at her real life she could have and she fights it every step of the way. Eventually she realizes what a gift it is. Movie was well written and acted just made me want to tell the main to grow up and not hang on to her past. She does get there.

Just got done watching the last of these episodes. Hallmark movie and mystery final admitted there will be no more. This was one of the best written,casted and executed of any of the mysteries they have done. The acting was great and stories really held together and held my interest even after a few watching. The characters where all grown ups. I will miss the actors/ characters they were all good . The chemistry between the leads was believable and fun. I know that nothing last forever but it appears Hallmark really just wants to attract a younger audience not sure why. I enjoy the inclusion of diverse characters but you didn't have to get rid of everything that has characters over 40.

This is the second time I watched this movie . I'm not sure why everyone is so down on the bride and no one talks about the aunt taking over just because she has money. Or the fact that the groom knows she doesn't like surprises but decides to surprise her by ignoring her for a month. Everyone doesn't want a big fairytale wedding ,as she told him but they all keep pushing.

I felt sorry for her because her groom is more interested in his surprise than the wedding. He wanted his aunt to be happy , he wanted to be the good guy even after she tells him that the wedding is to much. Try to see it from her side. It isn't the 19 th century it's the 21st. Women are not all alike and many don't want a big show. She wanted 30 people and ended up with 200 plus.

This is a well done Hallmark mystery. The two leads are solid and writing is good. But the characters are changed too much from the books these stories are taken from. Goldy's ex-husband was an abuser. They did not have a friendly relationship in the books. It changes the reason Goldy gets involved in the mysteries. Also she had a son not a daughter. Changes feel of the story

It's bad enough that Goldy doesn't have blonde curly hair like Goldy Locks from the fairy tale but the actress is to tall and thin. Hallmark should have kept all the main characters similar for all the fans of the books.
