I was a big fan of the original series. Richard Dean Anderson was simply captivating.

The new series has nothing like the old one. The characters are awful. Initially I thought this Mac is actually the original Mac's son! Then I realized that is not so. There is this tech girl who is mainly there for her boobs I think. The boss lady sees and hears everything via satellite in real time.

The stories are quite obnoxious and the "MacGyver" things sound and look ridiculous.

If all things go as it is now, I am quite sure this series will not be renewed. I sincerely hope not.

Overall, if you liked the original, PLEASE do NOT watch this. Please.

I was really excited about this show. I like all super hero stuff on TV and movies, as I am not informed about the comic books.

I watched the pilot, and thought may be I will give it another try. I watched the second episode and decided I will NOT watch it any more.

Over acting.

Poor story telling.

The Sheyara girl is horrible in many aspects.

All these super powers and the bad guy seems to do just fine.

As early as the second episode the story line got convoluted. I have a feeling this will get worse.

I hope I am wrong and others enjoy it.
