She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022)
5 is only for the last two episodes...
Honestly i went in looking forward to the show, but than episodes 2-6 happened...I like Jen in the show and her friends were decent but her enemies were bottom of the barrel. Somehow Titania is even worse than NotTaskmaster from black widow. The megan stallion episode should've been left in the trash along with megan herself. The last two episodes were fun and obviously Daredevil was great even in the lighter tone. Last episode was super fun and had multiple easter eggs, if the show had been more like that it would've been 100x better. Hope they do more with Jen down the line to redeem herself.
The Sandman: 24/7 (2022)
Boring
This episode was slow and incredibly boring and the big twist of "truth"? Everyone hates there lives and wants to be gay 😂 You don't have to beat ppl over the head to show gay couples as normal.
Titans (2018)
How the hell does this have an overall 7!?
Show is baaaad. Characters dont act anything like there comic counterparts and the botching of Trigon still hurts my soul.
The Flash: Heart of the Matter, Part 1 (2021)
Great Episode! Except of course for Allegra...
The best episode of season 7 for sure but it is legitimately IMPOSSIBLE to care about Allegra. If she's not with the full group honestly don't bother.
The Flash: Enemy at the Gates (2021)
Better, but still not great.
Anything involving Barry or Godspeed i enjoyed, pretty much everything else not so much. Allegra is just so unnecessary at this point and none of her stories are good. Frost and that guy is cringe every time, not every character needs a relationship cw. But overall a better episode.
The Flash: Rayo de Luz (2021)
Oof.
Allegra has never been an interesting character, certainly not enough to warrant her own episode. The Flash is my favorite DC hero and this episode was a CHORE. We need more Flash and less Team Flash!
The Flash: The People V. Killer Frost (2021)
Can we stop with the generic military person in charge already!?
Haven't even finished the episode yet but im seriously so over the generic military personal character....you dont need one in every season CW!
Supergirl: Stranger Beside Me (2019)
Pretty tired of the "evil new boss story"
It happened last season with the Army lady who was above Alex and this season with Kara getting a new boss. More Superheroing less ordinary human problems please and thank you? 🙃
Sonic the Hedgehog (2020)
Better than everyone will expect
This movie was so much fun. I was very skeptical going in but I laughed a lot in this movie and enjoyed myself. Jim Carrey was a perfect casting choice for Robotnik and Ben Schwartz did good to mix it up from his other voice works. Also I really hope it gets a sequel because of the pre and mid credit scenes!
Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn (2020)
A fun addition to DCEU
I really enjoyed this movie mostly because the cast had just a huge charm to them. They all gelled well together and seemed to enjoy the material. Ewan mcgregor was phenomenal casting as Black Mask, he really stole the show in a movie with a great cast
Jay and Silent Bob Reboot (2019)
I loved this movie
Was this movie dumb? Yeah. Did you need to know most the references? Yeah. I had a smile on my face through most of it it was just such dumb fun. I loved these characters and it just felt like more time with them so all around good in my book
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
I don't know why everyone hates this
I had a blast watching this. Was It perfect? No but you can't expect perfection. There's so many people complaining about little things that you forget movies are supposed to be fun. And that's exactly what this movie was for me. Loved the lightsaber battles and the space battles were a ton of fun too. Much better than last Jedi for sure and I didn't even hate that one like a lot of people do.
Knives Out (2019)
Expected more comedy got more than I asked for
This is a really fun movie. I was expecting more of a comedy but I wasn't disappointed at all. Phenomenal cast overall and Daniel Craig rules. His over the top accent is perfect and I'm really glad Lakeith Stanfield is getting a lot of work this year guy is great.
A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019)
Absolutely wonderful.
There was only one Mr. Rodgers. Tom Hanks absolutely brought the warmth and humanity that was needed to portray such a childhood icon for so many. Having grown up watching mr Rodgers it saddens me that he was one of a kind because the world needs more people who talk about things the way he did. Take your mom and just go watch this and have a good time.
Zombieland: Double Tap (2019)
Real good zombie mayhem
When the movie starts with Master of Puppets you get me instantly hooked. I wasn't sure what to think going into this movie because I've been disappointed by sequels before but this was really funny and had some awesome kills. The very last scene in the movie was also just so amazing in a lot of ways.
Joker (2019)
Beautiful, dark, and amazing.
This movie is incredible. From the choices in the camera work to the amazing score to the incredible performance by Joaquin Phoenix. They didn't beat you over the head with Batman references either which was refreshing. The thing about this movie is that you can not be into comic books and still enjoy this as a movie. Props to all involved! Only question I have is if we can get more somewhere down the line?
It Chapter Two (2019)
James Ransone steals every scene.
All the adult cast are cast perfectly but for me James Ransone stole every scene he was in. He perfectly conveyed fear when he needed to and even anxiety in certain areas. Bill Hader was also a stand out as he's hilarious as usual but he brings depth to the character of Richie. Overall an awesome ending to the great first outing the first chapter brought
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019)
Exactly what you'd expect
You get the rock being the rock, you get Jason stathem dropping one lines while kicking ass, and you have Vanessa Kirby stealing every scene she's in. All in all it was a fun movie that you can just sit back and watch. Oh and Idris Elba needs to be a badass villain again ASAP
Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood (2019)
Builds to a fantastic climax
Genuinely one of the best endings of a movie I've seen in a while, so over the top but so awesome. So pretty much Tarentino in a nutshell in my opinion
Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)
The best one so far.
Mysterio was perfect. The scenes where he was using his illusions were so freaking cool and reminded me of my youth watching the cartoon. Tom Holland is a perfect Spider-Man and he brings depth and warmth to a classic character. The mid credits scene made me scream so loud because I always said you couldn't replace J.K. Simmons and I'm so happy they didn't. My only issue is having to wait for what comes next!
The Flash (2014)
So I love this show....except for Nora.
Honestly this show got me into reading more about the character of The Flash and Barry Allen. But season 5 was kind of a bummer to watch because they just ignored key things from earlier seasons. Nora showing up and living in the past should've been a bigger deal since she's messing with the timeline but they ignore that. Oh also Nora is Whiney and annoying. Also when she disappeared from 2019 because of the new timeline everyone was sad like obviously she couldn't stay forever...she's from the future! Hopefully season 6 is better.
Legends of Tomorrow (2016)
Certain characters bring it down.
Honestly I've watched Legends since day 1 and I liked it cuz it was different and there was new characters to learn about but with season 3 and 4 they added Gary and Mona. Gary is just a moron to point and laugh at and Mona is just an annoying werewolf. And the werewolf doesn't look believable like at all. I don't like being negative but I couldn't help but share that.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)
Monster stuff ruled human stuff meh
I really enjoyed when they had the monsters on screen. The human stuff honestly just bored me can't really explain why either because the actors were doing there best. The music and sound effects were really cool. The visuals of the monsters were awesome and I'm looking forward to more monster vs monster in Godzilla vs Kong.
