In Mystic Falls, Virginia, the teenage siblings Elena and Jeremy Gilbert still grieve the loss of their parents in a car accident. When the newcomer Stefan Salvatore arrives at the high school, Elena and Stefan feel a great attraction for each other and sooner they date.
What Elena does not know is that Stefan is an ancient adolescent vampire that does not drink human blood anymore to avoid killing. However, when his evil brother Damon Salvatore arrives in Mystic Falls, his safety and his romance with Elena are compromised by Damon.
After "Buffy", there are many romantic films about love between a human adolescent and a "good" vampire, like the franchise "Twilight" and "True Blood". The pilot of "Vampire Diaries" follows the same wasted formula, with beautiful actresses and handsome actors and it seems to be predictable. My vote is six.
