The story of Bailey who lives through five different dog lives finds happiness with a boy named Ethan who grows to love the dog despite the difficulties of dealing with an alcoholic father but manages to find love with Hannah. However life takes a shocking turn for Ethan when he deals with a fire that causes him to lose his home and a chance at a football scholarship. However when Bailey passes away due to old age he is reborn in a different dog who works as a police dog and also a woman trying to find love. However I will say that I found the movie rather touching for dog lovers and those that don't have a dog since there is nothing more powerful than a bond between a dog and person.
