I cant believe i hadn't watched this movie until today. I landed upon it after watching an interview with saif ali khan.
To begin with, the movie adapts othello so beautifully and uniquely in the world created by vishal bhardwaj. The characters, their qualities and motives are portrayed really well.
The performances are spectacular. The cast was perfectly picked and each actor does their character justice. My favourite, without a doubt, was the portrayal of langda tyagi by saif ali khan. This performance, as per me, was a career best for saif. His character is conniving, so evil and the catalyst.
Definitely a movie that id highly recommend! I am on a binge of the shakespeare trilogy by vishal bharadwaj!
