No spoilers. Just praise for the direction this show decided to take! BOLD BOLD BOLD!!!! Jaw dropping finish with anticipation lining every scene. I genuinely don't know what to think, but I'm impressed.

I bet John is gonna learn the hard way that lying is not the way to go I see it coming. Ava and Sara were great this ep! But man those shocking twists that I didn't see coming. I actually gasped out loud twice. I'm shocked and can't wait to see where this is going next.

P.s Poor Ava she didn't deserve that.

Warning: Spoilers
I'm genuinely astounded by this episode. I never thought they'd kill Sara in a million years! Normally I go in depth with my reviews, but I don't really feel like there's much to say here other than an explanation of Sara's death.

I 100% believe that Sara Lance is dead. Bishop's entire thing is cloning and gene editing. It wouldn't exactly be out of character for him to make a Sara clone. He sees his clones as expendable based on how he was willing to die and kill off multiple Ava clones. Bishop is also the creator of the Ava clones from season 3, which means he's been doing this a lot longer than just a few episodes. And Sara was going to Ask Ava to marry her. Bishop literally built Sara's wife.

Not to mention that the Amelia Earhart alien wouldn't even be wrong to say that she killed Sara either, or just assuming that Sara died from its attack. It did kill Sara.

For me though, I think the strongest piece of evidence was the name of the episode. "Bishop's Gambit". A bishop is a piece in chess not unlike the queen, and Sara was originally supposed to die in Arrow 1x01 on the "Queen's Gambit" boat.

Let that sink in for a moment.

That. Is. Brilliant.

10 / 10 for that alone.

And no, I don't think this will be a "Theseus's Ship" thing, despite that being the kick that Hollywood is on these days.

Nooooooooooo!!! Warning: Spoilers
I have been a fan of Sara's since her first appearance on Arrow. And I was happy when I heard she was going to be part of Legends, and then when she became captain of the ship. So it was the biggest twist/surprise when they revealed that are Sara died in a earlier episode, and the Sara we've seen the last couple of episodes has been a clone, WHAT!!!???

What does this mean, what's going to happen to Sara, to Ava and the wedding, to the team? As a fan I must know. Sara is one of the best things about Legends of Tomorrow, now I have to hope and pray that this isn't the end of Sara's story.

Hmm.

Warning: Spoilers
Sara has been taken captive. Ooo, great pink neon pyramids twenty castles up on the sky? Rad. The Ship finally arrives at Gary's Planet. Mick and the Chick go out. Back in Constantine's house, Behrad gets his 12 pizzas. That is a lot. What a god damn family here. He needs some sleep. He is getting his headache worse, smh. The two discover an unknown alien is out on their ship. Rory discovers that they are cloned and gets taken captive. Ava has been lately working on something. Upload Gideon's consciousness in a classic TV, haha. The Legends gather up in one hit room, planning on what has been going on. They arrive in 1956, the fifties again? Oh my god... they discover Amelia Earhart. This is rather awkward. The Legends watch over an alien shape of Amelia Earhart whose name is somehow Sara Lance stuck in 1956 as Constantine walks in. Sara discovers that someone is spying on her, she- Gary comes out of the toilet. Why? DON'T EVEN HUG HER. WHAT THE HELL. Lel. The Legends confront Amelia at Shady Acres. Gary gets caught by three Ava's and gets knocked out. Lol. Idiot but in a good way. Sara discusses with Bishop. God, this is so weird. Bishop uncurls her, well done manipulating him. Ava busts in and interrogates Amelia. She gets easily tranquilized by Spooner. Fake Ava informs Bishop that an intruder tried to rescue Sara. Wait a minute, this planet reminds me of when all the superheroes were on during Crisis on Infinite Earths, but that could be me. Amelia is taken to Medical Bay. Astra uses her magic powers on Amelia on how she came to be. Eventually, Amelia has an outburst turning to an alien form. Rory is tied around a tree. He eventually unties it. Gary brings in another Ava in Fake Ava's room. What a god damn long confusing weird plot analysis I'm doing. Astra is currently recovering on the couch. Sara has another discussion with Bishop. "That's some storm." Finally, we have some action, punch him to death is what I would probably do.

Rory and the Chick take turns using the oxygen mask. Isn't that sweet? Teamwork, after all. Spooner's "headaches" are getting worse. Sara drags Bishop to his secret room. A ton of surprises, a full army of... Bishops? Dear God, no. Rory and the Chick enter the abandoned spaceship then realized that something is watching over them. They both get into a cryo-pod. And THEY MAKE OUT, HAHA. Oh my god, Spooner has the same language as the alien. Ava saves the day using a weapon on the alien saving Spooner. Spooner informs that the alien killed her. Sara has enough of Bishop. She is the White Canary, bit**! Full reveal that the dead body in Bishop's lab is the real Sara Lance...?

Thoughts?

Look, I am a big fan of Sara, but I hope that this isn't the end of her arc. She is wonderful. I feel like this is anti-climatic. It might give you a vibe that I am whining about, but no. I feel like this type of episode isn't for my cup of tea, and no, that was not a pun intended there. There's nothing enjoyable but somewhat a filler.

6/10, there are some good parts. The lowest part of Season 7. So far.

Slowly losing what it was I watched this for

Warning: Spoilers
The first 3seasons or so were great. Interesting ideas, interesting development, interesting balance of characters and their creation too.

This season is so "wtf" almost every episode, and the main great characters, and some of those that replaced others, have slowly been taken out. Also.... I get it! All women great, powerful, better than men.....but seriously you don't need to lay it on so thick, an make all the men weak and pathetic!!! Even big bad....oh that's right it's a man....still generally comes out as pathetic!

Equality doesn't really seem to exist any more, only belittling!

Sara....again....the story has gone on too long! Who cares! Can we ever go back to what the show was in the first 3 seasons?!

Or maybe, just called it something different from basically this season

Gideon is still great 😊
